Farr Bay Inn

The Room was fabulous with view of the NC500 road and mountains. The location , the beach walking distance and the peace and quiet, the only thing I would say was the cooked breakfast was great but no actual freshly cut fruit , it was a banana , orange IN a bowl, which was fruit , but I think they could have done with a chopped up bowl of melon , blueberries , grapes , orange, mango etc. also when the butter came out for the toast it was the most smallest bowl enough for one triangle slice not for 2 people having toast... same for sauce with the breakfast.

It was a shame it did not serve food or have a bar in the evening, it had Charcuterie & Boards, cheese boards if you like that kind of thing and bottles / cans of beer, whiskey and wine etc no hand pulled larger or beer. We decided to eat in the hotel up the road which was spectacular food and a great view with a lovely cold pint of Tennents.

Secluded location great beach 5mins walk away.

Tv in room didn't work. WiFi was terrible

Advertised as having a restaurant, but it was only offering cold food, had to go elsewhere.

Location and the fact that it had two bedrooms which was why we picked it

We chose this property which, although self catering, was located as part of a pub complex. When we got there the pub was closed until April. There was no warning of this fact when we booked, indeed the booking. Con website was all about promoting the pub
