Great views and location. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Didn't realise I'd booked a room without ensuite bathroom, so he swiftly upgraded ( with a small charge) to one with private facilities.
Bathroom was huge and toiletries were very nice.
Breakfast was delicious with good quality ingredients. Service was very good.
Dreaded memory foam beds ( personal choice!!).
Room was so hot! We ended up turning all radiators off - now bearing in mind we stayed in March....

Hotel did not open until a day after we arrived so we had the option to stay in the 2 bedroom cottage next door. It was lovely, spacious clean and warm. Pleased we stayed.

Very spacious with 2 bedrooms and all cooking facilities.
The place stunk very strongly of smoke like if somebody had been smoking 3 packets of cigarretes just before we arrived. The smell lingered even in the morning and in most of the space but specially at the entrance and in the kitchen.
You also can't control the heating directly and you can only do a "one hour boost" so in the morning the place was very cold.
Also, the shower pressure is so weak if you have to wash your hair it will take 10 minutes just rinsing it.
