Being to ladies 80 and 70 years old we had no option but to tolerate 4 nights as it was Edinburgh Fringe everywhere else

Nothing !

Everything ! The smell was the biggest thing smelt damp, musty, mouldy. Like it was boarded up for 50 years ! Tv did not work properly it was cold the old storage heaters did not work fan in windowless bathroom did not work shower head had mildew bedroom only had a bedside drawer and nothing else no dressing table . Front communal door lock was hard to open .

Unit was not cleaned on arrival and had an off smell. Significant wear on unit and mold present on windows/walls.

Not good location and small rooms

The host was helpful and kind when we reported to him the broken sofa bed when we got in the property.

The area is not convenient. A bit far from the city centre . Not good for elderly people who can't walk that far. It takes 30 or more minutes distance from the town to the location. The bathroom is not clean, and so is the kitchen. The sofa bed was faulty.

Regret booking this property. it was not worth the money.

the description is misleading, it says modern but actually it is an old flat redecorated to become modern but still all the facilities were old. kitchen was not cleaned when we arrive, the beds are lousy, we were told there was a cot for our baby but there wasn't, only a high chair. the dining table was missing 1 leg and it is a glass table sp we were constantly worried while using that it would fall apart. there were only 3 dining chairs and were 6.

Everything you need for a couples weekend away

The two bedrooms were spacious and the beds were so comfy we slept very well. Everything we wanted to see in Edinburgh was within walking distance of the apartment.

Had no prior notification until we arrived that we had to pay a £200 safety deposit before we would be given instructions on how to enter the property. This seems a little expensive.
