Lovely stay in Edinburgh, luxurious and comfortable

The property was newly renovated with high end fittings and finish. It was immaculately clean and well equipped. Lovely set up for a family stay, we were able to cook and use the kitchen well and washer/dryer well.

We had a unit that was facing the main road, so it got a little noisy esp when the garbage trucks were pulling up front. One of the rooms was huge which took a little longer to warm up but the other room was a little small, with nowhere really to put our stuff once the luggages were in. There were also a maze of doors within the apartment, it would have been helpful to provide some door stoppers maybe to help keep some of them open if we wanted to.

The bed and the pull out sofa were the most uncomfortable beds that I have seen in years. Unfortunately they do not really qualify for “luxury” suites

It was a comfortable apartment and nice location.

One thing that I was disappointed about was that I was expecting some Christmas decorations. I mean around the city it was lovely but for the price of the apartment I thought a little Christmas tree or something would have looked nice

Excellent location in beautiful apartment

Incredibly easy check in process, fantastic property location close the Edinburgh castle, beautiful apartment. Everything was extra clean and the apartment is beautifully designed. We had all the needed comfort for a short stay.

Bed could've been bigger and pillows more comfortable but not an issue at all.

Perfect pre-Christmas bolt hole.

This apartment is in a great central Edinburgh location. Ideal for walking, or catching buses etc.

Won’t suit anyone who has difficulty with stairs as it is a charming older building with no lift.

Was good but has potential to be better

Great space , central and clean

We had few issues with accessing the main door and was stranded out side for while until some came out. We also had electricity trip but they did fix it the next afternoon as part the apartment was in darkness. Sofa bed was awful, doesn’t have a mattress which made stay uncomfortable

Nice suite in a great Edinburgh location.

Great Location. The sweet was nice and quiet and offstreet parking is available nearby.

The bed was too high and was not very comfortable. Two coffee pods were available on arrival (we understand it’s self-catering) but we couldn’t find any additional ones for that machine in nearby shops. The sitting room could have done with an armchair as well as the small two seat sofa. The kitchen has far too many plates, glasses etc, but nowhere to store food, except the fridge. These are all minor niggles; the suite is lovely and in a fabulous location, we would happily recommend it.

Amazing apartment

Amazing property. Extremely spacious which was nice if one person wanted quiet / rest and the other person wanted to watch TV. The space was very clean. We loved the large bathtub which was nice on especially rainy / cold evenings. Appreciative of the washer / dryer and clothes rack. They provided a apartment manual which I found very helpful. They were able to accommodate a late check-out request for a fee. The apartment was on a nice quiet block.

Could be improved on; too much style over comfort.

It was very stylish and spotless. The location was excellent too.

The mattresses were way too hard for all of us. The pillows were too big and we woke with sore necks every morning. There was no mirror in the second bedroom - which was hugely inconvenient for us as two couples. There was no kitchen roll; I would expect that as a basic, along with toilet roll (which there wasn’t quite enough of for four people). The kitchen equipment was below par: there were not enough pots and pans, and the frying pan handle was almost falling off and for a non-stick it stuck. The hob did not heat evenly and the oven was ridiculously technical - you just need a simple to use one that people can turn on and use very obviously. It took us 10 minutes to work out how to use it. Too fancy!

Beautiful appartment in centre of Newtown

Location was excellent to be able to walk around new town and get to the old town. Style and space was good. Bathroom especially good. Everything was clean and well presented. Quiet with no noise from street or the other apartments at any time.

6 +long flights of stairs to get to the third floor which was tiring at the end of a day of walking and especially when carrying suitcases or shopping. As the ceiling height in the apartments is high the steps to get up are longer than we expected.

Fab location

Loved the location, and the parking. Comfy bed. Very warm. Great bathroom and kitchen.

The people upstairs had kids running up and down the wooden floor at all hours, so it was a bit noisy, but not the owners fault. The only other thing to mention is there was a damp mouldy smell coming from the drain in the shower.

Quiet, cozy apartment that was well equipped for a perfect long weekend in Edinburgh.

Property was clean, well equipped and in a relatively quiet area.

Was not expecting to be lodged in the basement floor. The door was also a tad difficult to close whenever leaving the property. If the false fire alarm scare didn’t happen it would have been a 10/10.

Great flat apart from the noisy road

The flat is well located near the main city centre and is both in good condition and well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The flat is located on a busy road and the windows are not well sound insulated, so it’s like being in the road. If you are sensitive to noise, I recommend good earplugs at night.

Tough for those who had to spend two nights in the unfolding couch

the unfolding couch in the living room is too small for two persons. Hence this appartment should not be advertised for 4 people. The heating system in the bathroom overheats the room with no posibility to stopt. It has been so hot that it triggered the fire alarm at one point in thime (this is my guess only).

Loveky aartment but stay reunited by no internet the whole stay would of appreciate a partial refund

The apartment was lovely in a great location . it was basement though the immediate entrance was not very inviting. The main problem was we had no internet for out entire stay of 5 days my husband needed to work so it was a nightmare. The television therefore dodhy work not too much of a problem but the whole reason we booked an apartment over a hotel was so my husband could work . It was very expensive. it was very clean but when arrived smelt very strongly of cleaning fragrance.

The apartment was very well equipped. HUGE cleaning fee made it quite pricey for a 1 night stay

Location was great. Top floor and high windows so no view but it was light enough due to skylight window.

A bad property and impolite customer care

The location was close to key attractions

We were not told that the basement flat makes you sleep next to the bins. On checking with customer care the reply was it's your fault to book the specific apartment and your are not supposed to be hanging around the bins! The smell in toilet took the whole we stayed to go. Overall a bad experience and would not recommend people to consider this for your Edinburgh trip.

Lovely Stay

The kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, bathroom, bed, and internet were top-notch. The staff communicated nicely. The apartment was close to Old Town, the bus, and the trains.

There were 73 steps up to our room on the top floor.

We really liked the cleanliness and how well equipped the property was, and its location.

The property is exceptionally located for central Edinburgh (close to Princes Street and with lots of coffee shops and amenities in nearby New Town). It was impeccably clean, tidy and well equipped.

We had our 11 month old baby with us and we don’t think it was clear enough on booking that there is no lift - we really struggled carrying the pram, suitcases and a baby up all the flights of stairs. Similarly, it wasn’t clear until after we booked the car parking that there was a walk from the car park to the property. Finally, the extractor fan in the kitchen is not fit for purpose - we set the fire alarm off cooking!!

Lovely apartment but no A/C.

Beautiful apartment.

No A/C, so it was warm. Need another doorstop for the bedroom door to get airflow when windows are open. Having a few fans would have been nice. We used the foldout bed and because we had to have open windows, it was very loud due to traffic noise. Toilet flush was weak.
