Perfect apartment

Beautiful apartment, lovely and clean, very well equipped and perfect location for the centre Check in was easy. Loved not having a key and just using a code. Communication was fantastic with fast responses through messaging. We are a family of 4 and it was perfect for us and what we wanted. We would definitely book again if we return to Edinburgh.

Wonderful central heating apartment

The quality of the apartment was wonderful, bed was comfortable, good use of amenities, lovely decor, decent size bathroom, ease of access, prime location -walking distance from tourist attractions or a bus route nearby.

The bathroom floor was freezing cold to walk on, the sofa was quite small, not ideal to get comfy and watch a movie, wasn't able to adjust heating in the bedroom separately from living room.

Fantastic stay!

This accommodation was fantastic. We stayed in the Maxwell suite. It was spacious, clean, lovely, has everything and need and family friendly. The only thing is there are doors that seperate each room which is fine but with our one year old we had to use furniture to keep them all open. The location is fantastic and it’s in a beautiful neighborhood. The hosts were easily contactable when our front door code wouldn’t work upon arrival. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Very beautiful, big and luxurious apartment. Stay was very comfortable too. Water pressure from the shower was really good.

Heat not evenly spread out in the apartment during winter. One of the rooms was too warm for comfort while the other was rather cold.

A lovely spacious apartment in a great central location

An absolutely gorgeous apartment in a fantastic location. Entry into the building and into the apartment is super easy with a code. The apartment itself was so nice, the spacious living room was great for my group of 5 friends. The bathroom was luxurious as it was very spacious and had great facilities.

Only comment is that the bathroom is through one of the bedrooms, so if you’re staying in one of the other rooms you do need to pass through a bedroom to get there.

Perfect comfortable apartment in the city centre, great value for money

Beautiful property in the perfect location. Super comfortable beds, warm & cosy apartment finished to a high standard, everything working perfectly. Staff very responsive to questions - they even left us a lovely note and bottle of bubbly as we were celebrating our honeymoon. There was a storm during our stay with strong winds and rain but we were very warm & comfortable in our apartment and ordered takeout - best Chinese ever! We didn’t want to leave and had to drag ourselves out to explore every morning. Could have easily moved in!

Few suggestions - more doorstops would be helpful to prop open the heavy doors. The lamps in the bedroom were far too big for the bedside tables meaning there was no room to keep items (water, book, phone etc), but we moved them ourselves so not really an issue. Carrying luggage up to the top floor was a bit of a pain.

Decor was luxurious and furniture was comfortable. Birthday gift received with thanks. Close to popular areas such as Princes Street and Water of Leith.

Top floor climb was strenuous and we were unfortunate to experience an alarm going off at the property.

Lovely apartment but needs improvements

Apartment was stunning, good location

No blinds on windows so everyone from the pavement and using the storeroom could see in. Really bad noise from upstairs from 3am to 8am on all 3 morning we were there. Large gapsvin both front doors allowing cold wind to enter apartment. Also apartment needs secondary glazing to minimise road noise

Perfect apartment for a city break

The location was great - close to the city center, with some nice bars nearby for breakfast. The apartment is a very good size, with a spacious bathroom, and it’s fully equipped with everything you need. It was a very nice stay for a city break.

The only thing that might bother some people is that it’s located on a lower ground level, so you can hear some noise from the street.

Perfect location, very stylish accommodation

Amazing location, brilliant property. The bathroom was lovely and the main bedroom spacious. We were able to easily walk to the city centre and back throughout our stay, would recommend.

Kitchen was a bit sparsely equipped. Sofa bed was ok as a bed but not comfy as a sofa.

I had not been sent a code. I called the property repeatedly and they did not answer the phone which left me very stressed and late for an appointment.. I sent multiple emails and eventually I received the code. The Bathroom smelled of sewage which was very unpleasant ...there was no one to call and complain to as they refused to answer the phone.

A nice small apartment located in a quiet area that is walkable to most everything.

We enjoyed the location which was close enough to everything that we wanted to see while still being in a quiet area. It was just big enough for the three of us.

We had no internet for the entire stay and it seemed as if this issue had been occurring for sometime. My daughter found the pull out couch to be very hard.

Cozy, beautiful and very well organised!

Everything we could need was there and was quite close to the city as well we were able to walk everywhere during our trip! It was a very well maintained and comfortable apartment! We enjoyed our time there!!

The only issue was an issue with the WiFi. They were trying to fix it but didn’t get fixed within the span we were visiting and since most of us didn’t have network in the house it was a little inconvenient.

Fantastic Apartment - would stay again

Lovely flat, beautiful high ceilings, great space and well equipped kitchen. Beds are super comfortable. Everything is very clean. Well maintained entrance hall and stairs. Nice location, not a noisy area but quite easy walking distance from Tram/Bus stops to Airport. Some handy restaurants nearby (5 mins) including Browns, Las Iguanas etc in George Street

Others have mentioned it but the only access to the bathroom is through the main bedroom. Unfortunately, the WIFI was not functioning during our stay. Host apologised and said there was an engineer working on it but it didn't get fixed while we were there. I would have been useful for host instructions to make it very clear that there are TWO key pads at the main building entrance. The key pad that looks like the "main" one (large, silver, metal) is NOT the one that will gain you access the building. You need to use the small, black plastic key pad to the right of the large metal one. This did confuse us for a while until another group of residents assisted us. Calls made to the hosts phone numbers (including emergency number), were not answered or returned.

Wonderful mini break, staying in very good quality accommodation, in an excellent location.

The location was excellent and in close proximity to all attractions and restaurants. The decor looked lovely and elegant.

We could not connect to the local tv channels, like BBC, ITV, and the remote control was temperamental, however we were out and about most of the time so did not affect us too much. And yes, we did follow all the instructions!

A well appointed property

A very mean management team who persisted in forcing me to have my stay there when I had broken my leg and I had to go up and down three flights of stairs on my backside- there were obviously no facilities in the flat for somebody with a wheelchair and using crutches which became very dangerous This could all have been ameliorated by having a very understandable management team

It's overpriced and the host is not very friendly or responsive.

The check-in was a disaster. The code did not work and the host was a little slow to respond. When they did respond they indicated we did something wrong. We absolutely did not. The code did not work until it suddenly started working (way after the check-in time).

Incredible location, spacious flat.

The location was fabulous, self check was easy. The rooms were a very generous size and everything seemed clean and new. Lovely dining room suite , and the most comfortable sleeper couch.

There was one small stand for unpacking clothes with 5 hangers….. for 5 people! The pillows were all enormous, one would think there would be 2 large and 2 semi flat so everybody’s preferences could be accommodated. There are green safety lights on the ceiling in the bedrooms which are very bright, we slept with masks on. Apparently it’s a safety requirement, which we have never experienced in other apartments in Edinburgh before.
