Destiny Scotland Charlotte Square Apartments

I had an amazing stay! The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a great visit to Edinburgh. Bit pricey, but the location was absolutely unbeatable; right across from Ross Fountain and just a 5 min walk from the tram, which takes you straight to the airport. It made getting around incredibly easy and convenient. The communication was also spot on. I’ve received regular updates, which made the whole experience completely hassle-free.Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh! * One small note: the listing mentions a castle view and while the description was accurate, during my summer stay the trees were quite full and unfortunately blocked most of the view. Of course, this is completely outside the host’s control and it didn’t take away from an otherwise fantastic stay.

Convenient location, clean

Our windows were directly across the street from a very loud and rowdy bar. It was loud from sundown until they closed at 3:00 AM. Maybe some triple pane windows could keep the noise out.

Small but well kitted out and finished. Excellent customer service.

Unfortunately we stayed in the one apartment that faced a night club that finished every night at 3am. Whilst steps had been taken to try and mitigate the noise the bass coming through the windows was incredibly tough. We have stayed in central Edinburgh for the fringe multiple times and expect some noise but this was relentless. If we were in an apartment that faced the road or the other side of the building I’m sure would have been fine. But flat 5 is literally opposite the door.
