Apart Bernard Rooms

The decor was lovely! The room was bright and colourful. It was v quiet too. It was in an ideal location for us.

It would be nice to have had a sink in the room, but I was aware there was a shared bathroom. The shower seemed to be either scalding or cold. It seemed to be tricky to get a comfortable heat.

Spacious room, nice view, beds comfy, good quality linnen and towels, kettle with tea and milk supply

overheated and no thermostat to turn down radiators (not ideal for owners energy costs, actually), window would not stay open (broken sash mechanism)

I experienced some issues during my stay which I would like to bring to your attention: * There was no signage indicating the room/flat number at the entrance. After arriving after midnight, I had to call for assistance to find the correct door. * Staff began knocking on the room door at approximately 9:30 AM. * There was no lighting at the main entrance or on the staircase, making access difficult, especially at night. * The towel provided was clean, but it was noticeably threadbare and showed clear signs of extensive wear. * There was no power socket conveniently located next to the bed. * Slippers were not provided. * There was no visible hotel name or clear property identification, which made locating the accommodation confusing. I hope these points can be considered to improve the guest experience in the future.
