About this apartment rental
Steeped in history, James Court was built in 1723 and has housed many notable figures in its lifetime. A stone archway leads to a fairy tale traditional spiral staircase which rises to this beautiful charming apartment - just off the Royal Mile in Edinburgh's historic Old Town. The property itself is a fifth floor apartment laid out over two levels & joined by an inner spiral staircase. Elegantly furnished, & with stunning views over the city, this will provide a dream stay in Edinburgh.
This is a fully licensed 5 bedroom apartment, with 3 bathrooms and a living room which can be used as a 6th sleeping area. The main living area is on the lower floor, as are all the bathrooms and 3 of the bedrooms. The property has a spacious kitchen and a dining area on this level. Upstairs there is another bedroom and a loft space, which serves as the final 5th bedroom.
Despite being right on the Royal Mile, a stone's throw from the Castle, it is a surprisingly quiet flat.
You will be renting the entire apartment.
One important thing to note: The flat is on the fifth floor, and there is no lift access. I can arrange for someone to meet you at the apartment to assist in carrying your luggage upstairs if required - it would be no problem at all, and this would be free of charge.

Location could not have been better! Directly on the Royal Mile and very easy access to train & bus. The multiple keys allowed our big group to pursue different interests. Well furnished and outfitted.

I knew it was a 5 story walk up but what I didn't know is that 95 steps straight up a narrow spiral staircase. Not secure from the outside into the staircase as there was a homeless man and his dog hanging out in there. 2 of the bedrooms are up another spiral staircase without a bathroom. Unit itself was otherwise OK. Great location.
