Destiny Scotland - Distillers House

The apartment is located in a beautiful historic building, with a modern interior that offers the best of both worlds. It’s just a 5 minute walk from Princes Street and within walking distance of all the main attractions. It is around a 25 minutes walk to Waverley station and Dean Village is also about 25 minute walk away and is definitely worth a visit! The apartment itself is very spacious, with a fantastic shower and a comfortable bed. Having a washer/dryer was a great bonus. The kitchen and living area are roomy, providing the perfect space to unwind and relax after a busy day exploring the city. The neighbourhood is quiet although the apartment is on a busy road the bedroom is at the back of the apartment so you can get a peaceful night rest. Overall, a lovely place to stay in a great location!

We stayed on the ground floor, which was great for people-watching! Just be aware that if you can see people passing by, they can see you too (so maybe think twice before making your morning coffee in your PJs!). There are blinds on the windows for privacy, but closing them does mean sacrificing some of the natural daylight.

This is a one bed apartment which had been tastefully set up as part of an historic building. All facilities were good and up to date. Particularly welcome was the Neesspresso machine

There were some very minor maintenance issues in the bathroom

I liked the location and price

Two of the windows did not lock. An extreme safety issue. Also the shower is very slippery
