Good value for money and once you get past the initial entrance Andover the stench of weed the actual apartment has been

The actual apartment was pleasant , clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable .

The entrance and stairway is unpleasant, run down and smells of urine and weed. Upon entry The smell of weed filtered through to the apartment . Once inside we were relieved as first impressions were not good.

Great Accomodation in Edinburgh city centre

The flat was kitted out with everything we could need. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. Lovely welcome by the owner who showed us how things worked and also assisted us with directions to places. Thank you for the caramel shortcakes too they were delicious. Great base for exploring the city. We just needed to stay longer.

It is up 4 flights of stairs at the top of the building and might be worth noting for anyone who isn't too good on stairs.

Very comfortable flat and great location

Stayed here for Oasis gig at Murrayfield and Fringe Festival in town - excellent location to walk to both. Very comfortable apartment for 5 of us sleeping in 4 rooms. Jamie is an excellent and communicative host and loved that there was a bottle of whisky for guests to try - nice touch. Great stay for a group!

Only minor thing was carrying luggage up 3 flights of stairs but that’s to be expected for a top floor apartment.

Fantastic flat in ideal location

The flat was well equipped with everything you needed. Just like a home from home. It's in an ideal location. Jamie the owner has been fantastic throughout. We will defiantly stay here again.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay just be warned that there are 49 steps up to the flat.

It was very clean and very spacious. The owner was very accommodating.

Only thing I would say is that the carpet runner in the hall sticks up with could be a trip hazard. But didn’t effect our stay

Absolutely beautiful apartment with so much space and in a great location too. It had great facilities and we found it was quite quiet. Jamie was so helpful, welcoming and so easy to chat to. It was perfect for our short trip.

Jamie was very polite, always in contact when needed, flexible around our needs. Apartment was in an ideal location not far from The Royal Mile. Very comfortable for all 8 of us adults. The little extra scottish treats put smiles on all faces.

For the odd person in the group the stairs were a little challenge but nothing major.

the facilities where easy to use and some food and condiments where left there for us to use.

the foyer and stairs were terrible and need cleaning and brightening up with fresh paint. That’s a bodycorp issue but l would work hard on getting it better than it is.

Location was pretty central.

No lift, we were on 4th floor. Stairwell was dirty, and had bikes making it even harder to monuever large cases up the stairs. Toilet in bathroom, made it hard with 6 people staying

Better for a young group, not a multi-generational group like ours

Decent location in town where we were able to walk to the grassmarket area. Clean bedding and towels.

The owners did their best providing a clean, modernly decorated space, but the old, tired apartment itself is not great. The dark, crowded stairway up to the apartment was a little off-putting. There was a lot of nighttime noise from the street, which we heard from the front bedroom. We had some trouble with the single bathroom and getting comfortable water temperatures (the owner did reach out to us after the stay and let us know that had we talked to them, that issue would have been easily resolved, our bad!). We also found the seating to be uncomfortable, the daybed in the living room is not a comfortable lounge space, and other than table chairs there were no other adult size chairs. Thankfully, we were not spending much time in our apartment!

Superb

Jamie was a superb host. The apartment was in perfect condition and had all the essentials, including milk & eggs! There was 6 adults in our group however you would fit 8 people comfortably with the sofa bed in the living room. Plenty of board games to keep us entertained. Also there was loads of spare towels and enough toiletries etc. Really good stay at this apartment and would definitely return. Jamie allowed us late check out free of charge!

Jamie is an excellent host who was very friendly and provided prompt communication. He met us at the property to provide keys and gave us a very good rundown of the local area . Great location - easy to walk into centre of Edinburgh and also very close to the fabulous Haymarket area. Clean, spacious and well heated apartment. Would def stay here again.

The lights in the stairwell were a bit slow to activate on occasion.
