No1. Apartments Edinburgh - New Town

We stayed in the deluxe 2 bedroom unit and it was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms had black out curtains. I sent a message in advance asking for the beds in one of the rooms to be separated and they were each made with their own duvet and bedding, which we really appreciated (they were separated a couple of inches which was sufficient for us). We arrived around 12:30 and were able to store our bags at the The Scotsman Hotel. I sent a message asking if the unit was ready and received a call around 2:00pm that it was ready. We were already up at the castle at that time, but it was nice of them to call. The kitchen was well stocked for making breakfast with a Nespresso maker, microwave, pans, etc. There’s a Tesco Express less than 1 block away where you can get stuff for breakfast. The unit had nice shampoo and body wash and they left tea, coffee capsules, creamer, sugar and biscuits. It’s located in New Town in an area of row houses about a 15-20 minute walk to Royal Mile. The plus side is this area is not touristy; local residents live in this area and there are restaurants and coffee shops close by. It’s also much quieter and calm than the touristy Old Town area. The downside is that the walk to the Old Town is not far but it is uphill. Overall, we enjoyed being in a calmer area and were very pleased with the spacious accommodations, the 2 bathrooms, and the comfy beds, and would stay here again.

Great apartment! Even nicer in person than I could have imagined from the photos, which already gave a good impression. Was pleasantly surprised to see my unit had two full bathrooms! For a one bedroom, that was awesome. Wish I could've stayed longer than a day, because it makes a nice retreat. The base of the kitchen sink was the main thing noticeably dirty, which was unfortunate to see. But didn't take away from the whole experience. 15/1 and 15/2 have a deep stairway to get to the apt, which also was a bit surprising and didn't make easy for me lugging a 50 lb luggage bag both up and down the steps. Needs to be more explicit for accessibility purposes. In the bedroom there is this cool adjacent faux grass room that was quickly tainted by the smell and cleaning supplies thrown around back there. As a selling point, that should just be attended to better. But all in all, it truly is a lovely apt and great deal.

Lovely apartment. Have now stayed in Edinburgh and St Andrews apartments. Kitchenette light on utensils/cloths but overall a lovely quality property.
