Thistle Street Apartment at Heart of the City Centre

Thistle Street apartment was in an excellent location and easy to access. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped and the shower was very efficient.

The street entrance was a bit unwelcoming and the sofa bed was not very comfortable.

Location good, cozy apartment, bed very comfortable cleaning good.

No.1 update gps because in information were no house number. The yellow sofa has a rip in the seat and it is a lots of stain on it.

Great location close to many bars and restaurants. Also it is a very short walk (10-15mins) from the main attractions in the old town and the railway station. We struggled to open the key safe on arrival (at 6pm on a Saturday) but the person on the end of the emergency telephone number was quick to respond and very helpful. The cafe/restaurant (next door and below the apartment ) was excellent - book to be sure of a table. (BTW no noise was heard in the apt from the cafe below) The apartment itself is very comfortable - great shower,warm, well equipped kitchen, living room. Felt very much like home from home.

More information about the key safe would be helpful. There are in fact several. We were sent information on how to access three different types of key safe, none of which corresponded to the actual key safe. In the end we tried all of them - it is NOT the one numbered 2 (as you would expect ) but the one nearest the door. Also we were asked whether we needed the sofa bed - which we did & replied yes - but we had to make it up ourselves. Not very problematic but there was no duvet cover to be found so we had to improvise with several large bed-sheets which luckily there were plenty of. Anyone sleeping on the sofa bed might find it a little noisy on a Friday or Saturday night. even though it is not on main road,
