This apartment building is in a fantastic location in New Town, just a short walk up The Mound to Lawnmarket and High Street. It is also located just a few blocks from Waverly Station, so it's a convenient location if traveling by UK rail. The neighborhood is busy and a bit noisy at night, but the accommodations are very comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and there are food markets nearby, in case the countless dining options within a 1/4 mile don't appeal. Note that there is no lift and all accommodations are up at least 2 flights of steps. Would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful, airy and well kept apartment. It’s right in the middle of Edinburgh and a stones throw from the National Gallery. Shops are round the corner of all varieties. Restaurants, coffee shops to choose between. It was the ideal place to stay.

The property was in the middle of Edinburgh activity. Close to Edinburgh Castle. The only thing that would make this property fantastic would be a lift. The stairs were tough after walking the streets of Edinburgh. We wish our schedule had been longer in Edinburgh. Thank you for a great stay!

Just perfect apartment. Everything needed were there. Comfortable bed. Good kitchen. ONLY small drawback was the narrow and loong stairs up to third level. But since it was Edinburgh, stairs is not really a problem at the accomodation. :)

Really well equipped place with everything you need. We had a one bed apartment in a fab location. Only thing to say is we obviously didnt read the small print. Thereis no lift. Three flight's of stairs after a day pounding the streets was abit hard, but over all worth it. Less than 10 minutes from Waverley station so very central.

First off the girls that work in the office are AMAZING. They helped us tremendously. I would recommend this place . Pros This place is in a great location. We had room # 4. Walking distance to everything. It is a large clean apartment with views of the city and castle . The bathroom was clean and had great water pressure. Keyless entry was great. There was coffee and tea. Everything you could want . Cons Check in is 3pm and when your flight gets u in at 8am and after a long time of time it makes it for a VERY long exhausting day. There is no elevator and its 50 or more steps up with luggage in tow. There is no Air conditioning and the windows only open a crack and there are no screens so bugs fly in. We did have a fan and that helped a bit. You can hear the cars on the street and bag pipers in the morning. The room was on the noisier side.

Great little apartment for our stay in Edinburgh. It was central to everything. We were a short but steep walk to old town, steps from buses and trams. There was no shortage of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. The apartment itself had everything we needed a full kitchen complete with mini fridge, microwave, stove, oven and everything needed to cook and eat with. There was also a dishwasher and a washer dryer combo, my only gripe being that I couldn't get the clothes to dry and ended up hanging them up after 2 unsuccessful cycles. The only other issue is that we were on 2nd floor and there is no lift so lugging our luggage up multiple floors and dragging ourselves up the steps after exploring the whole city on foot was a little rough. But overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Our apt was three flights up and there is no lift( we were told ahead of time) so it was a climb as I’m not young anymore. That said, it was nice and clean and in a very convenient location to shops and the tram. There was some noise from the adjacent buildings climate control system. All in all, a good spot for exploring New and Old town Edinburgh .

Everything you need in a home is available in this apartment. I love tbe water pressure & heated water. The shampoo, conditional, body & hand wash smells & feels good with sent of some aromatic oil. Only if there is a heated toilet bowl, then it will be perfect. Property is very responsive to e-mails but do not it is only during their office hours. There is a need for £200 deposit via a link given by the property to secure the booking. This is 1 HUGE setback on booking this property from Hotels.com because it wasn't mentioned in the fine lines. Apartment is located is awesome, at the heart of Edinburgh City centre & a bus stop just in front of it's entrance, hence it can get pretty noisy with vehicle or human noises. No A/C, just a fan but it's ok coz temp in March is like 2 to 8°C. I cannot imagine if it's summer. Lol...

Perfect location for exploring Edinburgh. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The blinds were not the easiest to use and could do with being fixed a little better. We just left them shut. Firmer pillows would be good, but depends on your preference I guess. No lift at all, we were on 1st floor so not too much of a problem. Would not hesitate to use Destiny apartments again. Thank you.

Large, clean, modern apartment in a great location. Easy walk to all the best sites. Easy to check in and out. Great to store luggage at the office for several hours while we explored the city before checkout. It is a a few flights up with no elevator, so it might be challenging for older or less able folks with luggage. Would absolutely stay again. Suggestions for owner: washcloths (apparently this is an American thing), a couple of towel hooks on the wall or door of the bathroom (we hung ours in the living room on clothes drying rack), Kleenex/facial tissues (though there was plenty of tp).
