Great location on a quiet, leafy, well-to-do square backing onto parkland on the edge of the city centre and walkable to Clifton Village. Clean, smart room with a lovely view onto Cabot Tower and the surrounding park at the rear of the property, but rooms to the front would also have a pleasant view over the square. Large, comfy bed with choice of pillows, decent enough shower, compact but adequate bathroom. Ample facility for making tea and coffee in the kitchen area, next to the comfortable shared lounge area which we used most evenings. Cute, friendly and well-behaved dog although she'll be leaving soon! Good value breakfast on the one morning we opted for it. Check-out time is very civilised. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay despite having quite a lot of rain while we were there. Thankfully Bristol is full of pubs and cafés so we had lots of options for sheltering! We'd very happily stay again and would recommend it to others.
We decided to do Park & Ride (which is regular, cheap and easy) as the parking options are very costly. Leaving the car for a few days was nervy but thankfully no problems, and with CCTV it's as safe as the NCP; the walk from the bus stop through the park is hilly but that's Bristol for you! Some may not like the full-length window into the shower - didn't bother me but if you prefer privacy that might be a showstopper. The loo was quite tightly packed in and if you're on the larger side you mind find it a little uncomfortable - again not a problem for us. No drink-making facility in the room, you have to head for the kitchen for that.

Lovely room with nice view in an overall lovely building. I didn’t eat breakfast but it smelled really good and the kitchen and shared living space was really comfortable. Very good communication from the staff in advance of stay.
Nothing, all good

Great location in the centre of Bristol and lovely period building. It was an unusual set up, but the common lounge area was a really nice aspect and finding irons and ironing boards hanging behind toilet doors added a little character to the experience! Although there was no reception open when we arrived, check in instructions were very clear. Breakfast cooked to order in the kitchen next to the dining table was also a fun experience.
Bathrooms were quite small, in particular the basins, but there were was an extra shared toilet on each floor.

The house is absolutely beautiful and created such a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. I stayed in the Chestnut room, which was perfect – it had everything I needed and offered a truly stunning view that made my stay even more special. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared.
I genuinely enjoyed my time here and would be more than happy to return. A special thank you to Tina, who was an amazing host and a wonderful cook. Her kindness, warmth, and care made the whole experience unforgettable. I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The breakfast was outstanding and the kitchen staff were super friendly. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The location was perfect for our tour of University of Bristol, walking to the quay and old town, and with great restaurants and shops close by.
The lack of an elevator, not mentioned in the description, made lugging our suitcases up several flights of stairs challenging and would be a non-starter for some travelers. The loud knocking sounds in the walls coming from the plumbing were also quite disruptive.

Cosy nice vibes central
The room was a little cold and the bathroom was quite basic but fair enough for the price

Really comfortable room in this beautiful guesthouse. Everything had thought about. The kitchen is lovely and really well stocked with herbal teas and hot drinks. Breakfast was delicious!

Great room, such character. Loved the clean simple white decor and mahogany woodwork. An air of simplicity. Reminded me of a lovely bnb we stayed at in Trinidad. Good location, quiet green square near the museum and uni.
Nothing. Wish I had more time to enjoy it.

I had a great stay. The location was very central (walking distance to the hospital which was what I needed). The room was extremely comfortable and very clean, and excellent value. Faith in nature shampoo in the shower was a bonus - it’s my favourite. Breakfast was cooked to order, and it was nice to be on a communal table to chat to a few other residents if you wanted. There was a great section of pastries and cold breakfasts too, I couldn’t really have wanted for more. I will definitely look up 3 Berkeley square when in next in Bristol, either for work or for pleasure.
I decided not to bring my car into the city, and used park and ride facilities - this was really great. I think had I brought the car in I might have had difficulty with parking or at least paid quite a bit over a few days. But I could be wrong about this as after a cursory look into it I didn’t go for that option.

Fantastic guest house, super comfortable room, slept like a log and it had everything I needed. Had a nice French press coffee in the morning and stored my bags easily for a few hours. I wish I had stayed more than one night! Also a fantastic cafe around the corner "Coffee Under Pressure."

Big rooms, plenty of parking outside (paid), clean, good communication. Communal kitchen/dining space looked great but didn’t use it.
Would have liked a TV in my room rather than using the communal space but wasn’t a problem, just would have used it had there been one.

No tea and coffee in room - cannot go to kitchen area unsuitably dressed very rarely or very late! All the stairs to the top floor.

Great location - convenient to the activities for which we visited Bristol, handy for eating places, close to park and quiet at night.
It rained a lot ... not their fault!

We occupied five of the available rooms and thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay. The individual rooms, and indeed the whole house, were in excellent condition and we particularly liked being able to relax in the large living room and make use of the tea, coffee and other kitchen facilities. It felt very homely. The location is excellent and very quiet despite being only a short distance from a busy main road. It was a treat to stay in such a pretty square and house. The owner was very accommodating, allowing us to drop our bags early. I would definitely stay again.

perfect night away! went to a concert, was the perfect place, the bed was so so comfortable and the room was really clean with high standards, the lady on the desk was really lovely and helpful! very grateful for the communal kitchen to be able to use it for whatever you’d like, i’d definitely recommend and would stay again!

Outrageously beautiful decor, very clean, the location couldn't be nicer.
I wasn't clear on what I could use in the kitchen and what cost extra, there's a transparent glass pane between the shower and the bedroom which is i know the norm now but still awkward, and if the description hadn't specifically mentioned that it was soundproofed, I'd not have minded that one could very easily hear footsteps overhead.

Bed was comfortable
The room was very cramped. About 6 inches between the end of the bed and the wall. The sink in the bathroom was so tiny it was more suitable for a doll’s house. And why they think it is a good idea to leave a radio on beats me. Don’t they care about wasting electricity? Do they seriously think that this constitutes a “warm welcome”? I didn’t see a single soul the whole time I was there. I don’t really have a problem with that, but then don’t claim that everyone gets a “warm welcome”. The clock in the room didn’t work. The battery was flat.

The en-suite bedroom was very clean and spacious. I enjoyed having my privacy and felt that the space was very suitable for my needs. I slept well and the dining room was very lovely
This is more of a personal preference because of travelling a long distance, but I did not realise there would be 3 flights of stairs for me to get to my room. Other than this, the entire stay was perfect and it did not affect the quality of my stay

An immaculate townhouse, with a real home away from home vibe. Tina and Vanessa went over and above to ensure that my stay was comfortable and nothing was too much trouble. The view from all windows was just lovely and it is a quiet and lovely part of town. Access was easy and I received a warm welcome. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was great. Breakfast was delicious and kept me going for most of the day.
That I wasn’t allowed to bring their little dog home with me. 🤭

for walks to Clifton and the harbour area. We would love to visit again.
Nothing springs to mind.
