Bristol‘s Hotel Du Vin is an absolute delight

This property has history and charm and it is beautifully appointed and styled… then it also has beautiful common areas with a great Bar and restaurant and wonderful food.. it was a real surprise.

Excellent comfortable stay in the city centre

A great stay at the Hotel du Vin. We had a warm welcome on arrival, the room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Staff were extremely helpful. Thank you for a great weekend away.

The room was very good, very big and a lovely bathroom

My girlfriend eggs Benedict was cold And they give me my full English breakfast on a very small plate it’s all pushed together so I did ask for another plate which they did give me but I should ask in the first place. It should just be on a bigger plate. For breakfast service could be a bit better and a breakfast could be a bit bigger.

Great, central location, lovely building and warm inviting interior. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, plenty of space and a little terrace too.

Superb stay with added wow factor

We stayed in the Pommery room and it was fantastic; the room was huge! The complimentary items were really thoughtful - shower gel, mini bath bomb/fizz, coffee pods, real milk in the fridge and a bottle of water. I also loved having a fan next to the bed, as I often sleep with a fan on at home to keep air circulating. Staff were great, particularly the bar staff in the evening, so helpful and friendly. We brought our dog for his first stay in a hotel - he loved it too. The bowls and pet bed were nice and big, and he loved his complimentary ball!

Nothing really. Our room was very hot during the night, but we realised we could have adjusted the temperature using the knobs on the radiator, so we've learned for next time!

Beautiful olde world hotel in convenient location for theatre and shops. One of the best Sunday roasts I have ever had. Friendly, helpful staff.

Very convenient location for central Bristol. Fabulous room. Lovely bathroom, with deep bath and enormous shower. Also lovely bath robes. So was a Nespresso machine, a kettle and a wide selection of teas and coffees and some biscuits and chocolate. I opted for the breakfast to be included and there was a great selection of pastries, juices and granola, et cetera. I also had a very good cooked breakfast.

Small things: the main light switch at the door switched off everything including bedside lamps. There was lighting for the cupboard with the lovely bath robes, but no lighting for whether kettle and teas were kept. Otherwise everything was fabulous.
