The room and location were great, but service and maintenance issues made the stay less enjoyable.

The room was spacious and convenient overlooking the vibrant street. It was a short walk from the train station making it easily accessible without a vehicle. Housekeeping did a lovely job.

The check-in process was disappointing and set an unfortunate tone for what could have been a wonderful stay. Our booking requested two beds, and the selected room included the option of two twin beds plus a convertible couch. Upon arrival, only one bed was prepared. The bedding request was disputed until staff reviewed the reservation details, which clearly showed the advance request. The second bed was reluctantly prepared, though it would have been more welcoming if staff had handled the request with more understanding. In addition, the bathroom light did not work, and this issue was reported upon arrival. Throughout our four-night stay, the lighting was not fixed. While the room itself was fine, the poor service and lack of maintenance significantly impacted our experience.

Large, sunny, spacious room with good facilities and friendly staff. Central.

Very easy location - in the centre of everything. Large spacious room with afternoon sun which we appreciated after lots of dark hotel rooms in other parts of Italy! Super friendly and helpful staff. A kettle in the room (yay) plus access to a kitchen area and outdoor seating (which we didn't use), making it easy to self cater if needed. We loved the big room and nice bathroom/shower.

It's not a criticism, just know that the room is on the main street of La Spezia's tourist area so it's busy and noisy outside. The double glazing works well tho :)

Great home base for visiting the Cinque Terre.

Great location. Clean and very quiet despite being on the main tourist avenue with lots of restaurants, shops, and nightlife.

The aircon made terrible Noise and disturbed our sleep. Early check is pretty rubbish considering you can only check in at 3. No milk for My tea.

The shower in the bathroom makes it easy for water to go out, but other than that, the place is perfect.

It was very noisy. Everytime someone flushed the toilet it the many levels above us we would hear the water come dowin the pipe in our room. There was no safe and the balcony was easy to break into. The fridge was so noisy we had to unplug it to go to sleep and it smelt.

Superb

Very friendly staff, helpful with my late arrival. The room was equipped with a small fridge containing free water and well working aircon. I had a balcony with a view to the high street in La Spezia. Lots of restaurants around and an access to the kitchen with a terrace perfect for having breakfasts. The apartment was within a walking distance from the Centrale station.

The room and bathroom were rather small and my phone's internet couldn't function while connected to the WiFi.

Satisfactory stay which would have been better with more hands on service.

Location was fairly near to the station which was good as we used it as a base to visit the Cinque Terre. There was no traditional reception but there was an office on the street which was open periodically. The lady was always very helpful. The room was clean and large with a small pleasant balcony. There was a mini fridge in the room.

There was nobody around when we arrived in the evening in the dark after a train strike....so we had to check ourselves in. We had to ask for drinking glasses....which were turned out to be plastic. The advertised 'great help for tips about the Cinque Terre' was never forthcoming. There was no safe in the room but when requested one was put in....but it did not work.

Overall enjoyed our stay but some major amenities need to be fixed

I loved the balcony, I haven’t been on a balcony in months so it was a nice way to relax in the evening.

The room upon first impressions was clean but upon further inspection there were several things wrong with it such as: - dirty walls - the two twin beds were constantly separating - the bathroom sink drain had to be unscrewed for it to drain properly - the shower drain had to be lifted off for it to drain properly - the hair dryer didn’t work - the coffee machine (outlet?) didn’t work

Two keys to the property would have been preferred .My wife enjoys shopping while I prefer to visit the sites and venture, therefore we are not always together and there were occasions when one of us was unable to enter the property until the second person arrived.

Good option in La Spezia

The staff was very nice and helpful, she even let us leave our luggage after the check-out. The room had a small fridge. The only bad thing is that the wifi was not very good. We understand that the price is determined by the location and the season, not only by the facilities provided at the apartment.

Full body mirror and toilet roll holder would be nice, a little dusty on the tile edge in the bathroom, shower‘s fairly small with no place to put shower gel/shampoo
