Excellent Location, The View Spectacular and Amazing Staff.

The location, the view, the food, the staff, everything was great.

The room needs to had a little bit more of illumination and we have issues with the A/C.

Spectacular Views and Perfect Convenience for Business in Downtown Rio

I spent the weekend in Rio de Janeiro and stayed at the Prodigy Santos Dumont Hotel. The room was extremely comfortable and had outstanding sound insulation. Even though the hotel is located inside an airport — and there was a rave happening right in front of the building — we didn’t hear a thing.

As for areas of improvement, the pool service could be significantly better. According to the lifeguard, service only begins after 11 a.m., and even after that time I had to walk to the restaurant myself to place an order. There was only one staff member responsible for attending guests. In addition, the wine list available at the pool is more limited than the one offered at the restaurant, which doesn’t make much sense since the products come from the same place and are served by the same employee.

The view, the central location is ideal to move around Rio.The breakfast is also good.

The hotel is not a 4-star at all, it needs rooms, corridors, elevator, reception renovation, for the price they charge, you would expect modern installations.

Great location, but the rest could be much better.

The location is awesome, you are almost at SDU lobby The staff was great, at night dining at Orla 21 restaurant the service provided by the waiter Jorge Fernando was simply awesome. The view from the window was amazing you are right in front of Sugar Loaf.

I expected a lot more from my room when i think about how much i paid for it. The price of the parking is outrageous (110 reais per night with hotel discount). The breakfast had some issues, some itens were finished and took a long time to be replaced. The cheese bread was cold and hard as a rock,

Prodigy Santos Dumont is a gem!

The view to the Corcovado was beautiful, the staff was very friendly and the location was perfect with UBER pickup point right out of the hotel. Not to mention the hotel is right next to the airport Santos Dumont which was convenient to me.

Restaurant were accommodating when I told them I was vegetarian and made a meal special for me. The waiter I had two evenings in a row was so friendly and kind. The room was lovely and the pool was stunning!

Convenient for the airport but let down by its layout.

Close to the airport - so very convenient if you need to stay overnight due to problems with your flight. Great views from the pool though of Rio.

The lifts to the rooms and the lift to the pool and restaurant are at the opposite ends of the hotel a five minute walk apart. very inconvenient.
