Rio Aeroporto Hotel Galeão

Localizado no terminal 1 do aeroporto, o transfer para os terminais de embarque são feitos de graça e disponível o tempo todo. Nosso voo era muito cedo e saímos às 3 da manhã, eles ofereceram um pequeno café da manhã para quem vai sair antes do café da manhã que começa às 6, então achei muito bom poder aproveitar o café da manhã incluso na diária.

O preço é bem caro pelo hotel mas infelizmente eu paguei pela comodidade de estar dentro do aeroporto e não andar no Rio de Janeiro de madrugada para ir para lá.

We stayed here because our flight from Rio to home was canceled. United wanted to put us up about 10mi away but I booked this on booking.com because I wanted to be at the airport. The hotel is in the old terminal, which is now only used for admin functions and, oddly, this hotel. It's got a weird deserted vibe which is also kind of fun, if you like zombie movies, or you wanted to be Tom Hanks's character in the 2004 movie, The Terminal. The hotel has no windows, so it feels like a bunker. But the beds were comfy, the wifi works and the AC was cold. You can walk directly from the hotel to the active terminal where you can have meals, get coffee, etc. if you happen to be stuck there for 24hrs like we were. Makes it convenient to depart.

Shower was not great. No windows in the rooms.

The hotel is very well located, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Unfortunately, the room did not have any windows. We also arrived in the middle of the night, and finding the shuttle to the hotel was somewhat challenging. Better instructions and guidance for guests regarding the shuttle service would make the arrival experience much smoother.

The property is close to the airport

The fridge was full of drinks but no glasses. There are no instructions as to the location of the shuttle bus terminal in the terminal. There is not an ironing board and iron.
