Beautiful villa in a great location!!!

The staff are just amazing. They were so attentive and always happy to help. Breakfast was lovely and the villa itself is in a fantastic location, right on the shore, 2 minutes walk from lovely restaurants and shops. The AC much appreciated in the humid weather! I would highly recommend.

Lovely relaxing stay in beautiful villa

The villa is staffed full-time, including overnight security, which is something we're not used to but they were not intrusive at all and actually helped hugely with providing a cooked breakfast, booking taxi's, a local restaurant reservation and organising days out etc. The villa is beautiful and spacious with a pool next to the sea, with accompanying cooling breeze, and views out towards Nusa Penida. Candidasa is quieter than other area's we've stayed but was busy enough for us and was a great base to explore some of the eastern part of the island.

Beautiful Private Oasis

Beautiful, quiet location. The Villa and the staff were absolutely amazing. The staff went above and beyond to look after us; when a few of our group fell ill, they made a traditional Balinese porridge to help get over the sickness. They are so beautiful and kind. Highly recommend!

Excellent location. Greast housekeeping staff, privacy and ambience. Well equipped kitchen.

Approach to the property from the main road is 200 m on an unlit bumpy track, making it impossible to return on foot after dark. The in house chef badly needs training. No sandy beach nearby except a tiny sliver , which is hard to get to.

A wonderful place to stay!

“A Beautiful Villa Perfect for Family Getaways” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this stunning villa, ideal for creating special family memories. We opted for the family-style breakfast with increased portions, which were incredibly generous and beautifully presented. Each morning, we arranged for a yoga instructor to visit the villa, adding a wonderful, relaxing start to our days. Overall, it was a serene and rejuvenating experience. We highly recommend visiting before Candidasa becomes Bali’s next sought-after destination.

A really special treat

Absolutely everything. I couldn't believe the price when I booked this and was worried it was too good to be true but it really wasn't. There were 4 of us, two couples, but the villa sleeps 8, all bedrooms have their own bathroom with bath. The space would easily accommodate 8 without feeling crowded. The pool is superb. The garden is lush. The location is great. Staff, every single one of them, so not singling out any one person, were just lovely. Didn't feel intrusive at all but we couldn't even pour ourselves a glass of water! Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Extremely reasonable price for shopping and meal prep, the beef rendang was yummy. Astonishing value for money all round. Very much looking forward to a return visit 🙏🏼

We really enjoyed our time at Villa Kaniksa. The staff were always ready to assist with anything whilst providing complete privacy for our family. The location is perfect, close to restaurants, atm, shops, massage etc…whilst also being in great location to get to blue lagoon, small island and virgin beach for snorkelling. The Villa is super spacious and haves everything you need. The bedding was of high quality….lots of villas we have stayed in go really cheap on pillows and bedding so it was pleasing to have quality bedding. We look forward to returning again soon.

There was honestly nothing that we really didn’t like about this villa. It would be good to get a sealed driveway to the villa but understand owners are already working on this.

Amazing place with an amazing staff!

This was an unexpected, amazing place to stay! Every one was very attentive, helpful and professional. The location was very good as well. It was very easy to walk to restaurants and shopping. We were picked up by drivers for tours and diving. Have already recommended this villa to our friends.

Candidasa's best

Private luxury on the ocean front. Excellent staff and away from the traffic. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. Their knowledge of the local services and people in the know meant you were able to deal with good people.

Fantastic willa!

Fantastic villa by the sea. We stayed only 3 days and the only thing that could be improved is breakfast, they are exactly calculated as you want, eg an extra pancake may be a problem. For longer stays, it is worth asking for shopping.

Best stay ever!

This is a truly gorgeous villa, at a great location with the best sea views, complete privacy and a private staircase into the sea for swimming and snorkeling. It's walking distance to some great restaurants and shops. Their in-house chef cooked us a wonderful dinner! Thanks Dian and the team for a fantastic stay. We will be back!

Spectacular seafront Villa with amazing staff

Spectacular oceanfront location. There are 3 ocean front villas, separately owned, two of which are managed by same personnel. Dian, the manager is lovely and super helpful, we pre arranged beverages and food ahead of our arrival. (They charge cost plus 30% service, the latter includes the preparation and serving of the food and beverages.) We had a large bundle of laundry done for about IDR 122k Ultra comfortable beds. Super friendly staff - consisting of a team of 8 including 2 security staff, garden / pool caretaker, 2 villa valets and a cook. Highlights: early morning coffee by the pool overlooking the ocean, lying by the pool being offered beer / water, steak barbecue by the pool on our last night. Highly recommend.

The villa is not brand new and no longer pristine, due to the high humidity, there’s small signs of wood decay on the floor boards and cupboards, and mould on the grout between tiles, but nothing major that detracts from the overall experience of staying here.

Luxury oceanfront villa in Candidasa

Villa Kaniksa is the most spectacular luxury Villa set on the ocean with direct access to the sea. The villa has four king beds all with ensuites, a kitchen pod and a big central open dining & living hut. The decor is contemporary island style with solid wood furniture carved with Balinese motifs, wicker lounge setting with comfortable cushions for relaxing to read a book under cover or watch TV (Netflix is available but we didn’t use it). The bedrooms are lovely and well appointed. As there was only the two of us we only used the master bedroom which is spacious, has heavy duty air conditioning, a large walk-in wardrobe, big bathroom with spa. The bed is a four-poster with enclosed sheer nets and was super comfortable. With the breezy bed nets we felt like we were sleeping in a medieval romance movie! The gardens are incredible: the grass is lush and soft, the surrounding plants a tropical delight, and the abundance of wildlife was beautiful (chorus of birds, geckos, dragonfly & hermit crabs). My first evening, I had a massage next to the pool, at dusk with the birds chirping and the waves lapping. It was truely heaven on earth! The staff are so accommodating and friendly. They are helpful but never intrusive. They go about their work at intervals and when needed, otherwise they give you privacy. The food that was cooked by the chef (Su the talented resort-trained chef) is delicious and of the highest quality. The menu has many options and it’s easy to plan the day before for the meals the following day (we did go out for two lunches and a dinner and then had the rest of our meals at the Villa over our five days). Chicken BBQ, crumbed chicken, salads and Nasi Goreng was exceptionally good for dinner, club sandwiches by the pool for lunch & breakfasts of tropical fruit, eggs or pancakes with fresh watermelon juice & coffee eaten from the long dining table overlooking the garden, pool and out to the ocean.

There are only a few small things that could possibly warrant complaint (but these are minor against the overall stay): - the pillows were way too soft and uncomfortable for my personal preference - the spa didn’t work - the bathroom has open walls at the ceiling that face into the courtyard and I was really uncomfortable going about my daily business with the staff within hearing range. This might not be an issue for everyone but it did cause me a good deal of anxiety!

beautiful villa that is well located in candidasa

beautifully designed villa located at the seafront where we have the view of the sea. the size is nice for our group. we were able to descend into the sea by climbing down a few steps and it was nice to snorkel and see the coral fishes just around the villa. the service of the staff were also very good. they were friendly and helpful.

The kitchen cleanliness could be better.. We were there during the pandemic period, it was really a very quiet season,in my opinion it was over price at that time during out stay.

Excellent private resort for family holidays

The resort is private and you have the whole property to yourself. There are 4 rooms and if you are going in a group - it’s awesome. Loads of space - swimming pool, sitting area, jacuzzi, great service. They have good tie ups with dive Centers, massagers (who come to hotel to massage), restaurants, transporters- hence it’s all we’ll set. Views are outstanding- sea just in front of the hotel. It’s a beautiful experience . Dian - the main person is super helpful and highly responsive over calls, whstapps too. I would give it 11 out 10. Superb property

4つの部屋のうち、１つの部屋は馬のような、獣のようなにおいがした。買物を頼むことができて、料理をお願いした時の食材には調理料や配送料として20%の上乗せがされるが、飲み物等にはかからないという説明があったが、買い物のレシートを見せてくれることはなかった。

Fantastische locatie aan het water Prachtig ingerichte en zeer ruime slaapkamers en badkamers Mooie tuin en groot zwembad Enorm gastvrij en attent personeel die steeds voor je klaar staan, en uitstappen en reservaties voor je regelen. Je kan ook heel lekker eten in de villa zelf. Toplocatie!

Verouderde villa die dringend een opknapbeurt nodig heeft.Verf schilfert van de muren,muffe geur in de slaapkamers,parasols met scheuren in,ligbedjes met vuile kussens,jaccuzi kapot,douche open ( ideaal voor insecten binnen te hebben)glazen deur in badkamer,eenzijdig ontbijt,staff 24/24 u aanwezig wat voor ons storend ervaren wordt ipv aangenaam .Privacy?En onvindbaar volgens Google Maps,zeer moeilijke en hobbelige weg naar de villa.Wij zijn 1 dag vroeger vertrokken…De eigenaar ( Hollander) moet dringend es wat renovatiewerken voorzien!Zeker geen 9,5/10 waardig

Fantastische villa, nóg fantastischer personeel

Zeer prettig verblijf gehad! Vooral het personeel was uitzonderlijk goed: enorm vriendelijk, behulpzaam en attent. Het verblijf was voor 99% perfect – van het fantastische eten en het heerlijke zwembad tot de royale luxe kamers met prachtig uitzicht op zee. Ook het contact met de manager en eigenaar verliep zeer prettig. Je merkt dat ze er alles aan doen om het verblijf zo goed mogelijk te maken, wat enorm gewaardeerd wordt. Een paar kleine verbeterpuntjes: het ontbijt mocht wat meer variatie hebben, de jacuzzi-knop werkte niet en we hadden af en toe last van een stroomstoring. Desondanks heeft dit onze ervaring absoluut niet verpest. We hebben ontzettend genoten!
