The location

The host who met us, was rude and sarcastic. He took us a route to the apartment that was over one of the biggest bridges in Venice when we had small children and elderly people and luggage to manage. we later found there were simpler ways to access. We were supposed to be provided with an infant crib which was not provided. our booking said we would be given a bottle of champagne and that also wasn't provided. The hot water didn't work in one of the showers, the seating in the main area (living room) was extremely uncomfortable and almost impossible to use. A lot of the furniture was old and seemed to be falling apart. Maybe it's to give character but it was not a pleasant stay. Dishwasher wasn't working properly. There were racks of laundry left drying in the middle of the house. The shower gel provided was just a refill of the same hand soap at the sinks. The beds and pillows were also very uncomfortable. Definitely recommend avoiding this one. Our family stayed in 4 different apartments in our Italy trip and this was definitely the worst one.

The property was clean It was close to San Marco although takes some 15-20 minutes of walking to get there. The rooms were big. Its a 2 bedroom home with beds in the

We had multiple issues with the home. 1. Mr. Luigi, who takes care of the house and hands over keys was not helpful. He told us that we can walk to the house to which I answered that I have 4 massive bags. He said that its easy to walk from the train station to the house by walk. As a newbie in Venice, I googled the address and started walking with my family of 8. After 25 mins we hit a dead end. Mr.Luigi would not communicate proper directions at all. Taking the public transit ferry would have been such a good idea. 2. When we arrived at the home, it was hotter than the Sun. It was on heat 7. We reduced it to 5 and then to 3 but the home was always super hot. Although the home was hot, there was no hot water in the home. The first day, only 7 of us had hot water to bathe and on the second day, there was absolutely no hot water. Accomodation is average and even below average accomodations provide hot water which this place did not. I think there are better places to stay in Venice. Any random hotel would be better than this accomodation.

Clean, basic apartment with everything you need in the centre of Venice. Recommended.

The apartment was clean, well managed and the location was excellent. We arrived earlier than expected and the manager let us in without any trouble. The organisation for the apartment is excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will definitely go back.

beautiful spacious apartment with canal views in the heart of Venice!

the apartment is really well situated in the heart of Venice . It is as it looks in the pictures.. really spacious , filled with beautiful antique furniture. The beds are really comfortable and it’s quiet. The bedrooms have windows that look out onto a small canal so you can hear the water lapping at night and during the day the sounds of music coming from the nearby music academy. Wonderful place to stay and be based in Venice. The owner was more than helpful with any instructions on getting to and from apartment.

Just be aware there is a fee for key collection if you arrive after hours.. and the closer to midnight and after the more expensive!

The lady in charge of the apartment met us at the boat station which facilitated in reaching the apartment. The rooms were spacious. There are 2 Bathrooms, which is really good because we're 6 people.

Some light bulbs in the rooms were missing or defect.

Very good

The apartment is very spacious. Prior to arrival I got in contact with Lucia, and she explained all the details. We arrived later than agreed but all well managed. Apartment is around 5 minutes walk to vaporetto, and in the Academia are, 2 minutes from there, you can find many restaurants open till late. On our departure day, Lucia came to say good bye and walk with us to catch the vaporetto. Thanks again!

The location that appears in Booking.com is not correct, but it was a good location though.

The wifi wasn't working, we contacted the host about it but we had no answer. There were no hot water in one of the bathrooms and the light was very dim in the bathroom and in the living room. The city tax that appears is site is also not correct

Excelente ubicación, a pasos de calles comerciales, restaurantes y dos paradas del vaporeto. El departamento amplio, iluninado, con aire acondicionado, la cocina bien equipada. todo bien aseado y ordenado. Destaco la decoración al estilo veneciana.

Para 5 personas, las camas de los 2 dormitorios estaban perfectas, pero los sillones camas del living comedor, son muy incómodos si se usan para dormir. Agregaría más copas en la vajilla.

La casa è stata presentata per ospitare 8 persone. Purtroppo 3 letti su 8 eran panche adattate , molto scomode ed instabili (durante la notte un letto si è ribaltato). Dei due bagni una doccia non funzionava. Non è possibile pubblicizzare l’utilizzo di due bagni se l’acqua calda va solo in uno.

Un emplacement parfait pour un séjour exceptionnel

Être accueillis par Luigi dès notre descente du vaporetto est un vrai plus. Ce monsieur est fort sympathique et plein de bons conseils. L'emplacement de l'appartement est assez central et du coup très commode pour arpenter les rues de Venise en long en large et en travers. Le logement est très bien équipé pour y vivre "comme à la maison" dirait Luigi, sans oublier son extrême propreté.

Un tout petit bémol...l'espace salon dans la piece à vivre manque de confort pour s'y poser et se détendre, un ou deux fauteuils cosy ne seraient pas un luxe 🙄
