Close to old town The host was attentive and accommodated us last minute after our main reservation was cancelled the night before.

The place needs TLC. Showering was challenging as space is tight and the sofa bed wasn't that comfortable. We were glad to stay there but would choose Lido' as downtown Venice is overrated and not worth the expense , in our opinion.

Don't stay here - Not worth it. For a few dollars more - many HONEST places available.

The Location was the only thing. Right in the middle of San Marco square - about 150 meters to be exact. Nothing else was good. Everything about this place is MISLEADING.

The photos completely misleading and NOT EVEN the place you are rented. Nothing work, the fan... "Take the batteries out of the TV remote to turn it on". The "A/C" was a disaster, as it was a portable unit which needed a tube to hang out the window, needless to say the misquotes were happy! The bathroom was tiny and water pressure almost ZERO.

Great for a short break

Very well located in the centre of Venice. My apartment was the one on Calle de Todeschini.

Some of the facilities were dated and needed to be replaced but we weren’t really in the assortment most of the time so didn’t really affect us.

Fair Enough

The apartment was great—clean and featuring traditional Italian decor. The location was quiet, and accessing the apartment was easy. Overall, It was ok

The apartment lacked a microwave, which is essential when on holiday. We bought food to eat in, but we couldn't heat it up. Although there was a kettle, using it caused the electricity to trip six or seven times, making it impossible to even make tea. Additionally, the electric socket was poorly secured with tape, which could pose a safety hazard. Overall, these issues were quite disappointing.

It was hell in every way

Only the location & personnel that’s all!!

It was too hot in the room 28-C in the room after 11pm impossible to open window because there was net on the windows can’t even see out through window. The photos was not belong specially the room I had. I checked in 11pm in the night impossible to find another hotel otherwise I checked out immediately even I paid. The towels were old very bad condition too dark in the room U feel you are in the basement when U are on ground floor 3 cheap fans in which one was broken. Bed sheets was old looking dirty sofa & bed very uncomfortable U can’t leave your luggage at apartment so I paid storage for 30€. So in the end it’s better take a hotel or apartment with aircondition & pay 40€ more for that. So my experience never ever go again there!!

Bed bugs ruined this stay.

Location is GREAT.

First up, the apartment is small and appears bigger on pictures. It was small, tiny bathroom, tiny shower. It was also dirty and a bit messy. Worst part is: bed bugs, now my friends apartment also has bed bugs and I have to freeze all my bags.

Not Good All & Very Uncomfortable Stay!!

Of course — here’s a longer, more detailed version of your review while still keeping it fair and constructive: ⸻ Review: The main positive of this stay was the location — it’s in a convenient area, close to one the main bridge, and some other things which made getting around easy and stress-free. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for me. The property itself is in serious need of a makeover. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the place hasn’t been updated in quite long long time. The furnishings, decor, and general condition all felt tired, dated, and a bit neglected. It wouldn’t take much to bring it up to a much higher standard with a bit of investment and care. The biggest issue, though, was the bed. It was by far one of the most uncomfortable sleeping experiences I’ve had in a long time. And the most nasty sheets I’ve ever slept in. We barely slept through the night and woke up feeling more tired than when we went to bed. Between the quality of the mattress and the general lack of comfort, it made relaxing impossible. Very very disappointing.

Great location but mixed experience

In general, the apartment was ok for Venice standards, the location is perfect, close to the city center. The landlord was nice and helpful and answered fast.

There was mostly no warm water for the shower which spoiled our vacation a bit. Alone I wouldn't mind that much, but showering kids with cold water is hard. The first time it happened, we informed our landlord and he fixed the boiler. But it happened again the next day and we decided to leave it as it was. Also the condition of the bed linen was not the best (there was a musty smell and some stains). When we arrived, the second bed, a sofa (we were 4) was not fully prepared. We found bedclothes in the sofa, but they were not really fresh. The sofa is old and squeaky. Furniture as well as the kitchen was quite old and partly not clean. All in all it was a mixed experience.

The host took care of the city tax registration. Coffee pot. Clean bathroom. Good shutters for sleep.

When we arrived the hallways smelled of garbage (the host said from the neighbours). We have lived in Venice before so we know about the rules of garbage. There was also old food in the fridge. The beds need updating and the pull out couch needs to be replaced- very uncomfortable and smells . There were no duvet covers so the blankets for the bed had germs. We needed an inexpensive place to stay because we got stuck in Venice because of a train strike. In general could be very cute apartment for price but needs some updating.

Old, small apartment that had a sad feeling to it, the hallway was dirty and dark.

The air conditioning

It was a sad looking apartment, very small for 4 people, nothing special that reminded one they were in a beautiful Italian city. All of the bedding and towels were mismatched and clearly well worn. After telling the host, I felt I had not seen these photos on the website, he berrated me and told me I was one of 95% who do not understand how Booking.com works. He continued to argue and refused to listen to me. I felt afraid to call him and ask him why the hot water was not working. It was because a power switch had been turned off. We own an apartment on Lake Como and our water heating is not turned off in this way. Overall it just made for a unpleasant experience. The host tried at the end to say 'I am here if you need anything' but after his toxic introduction it did not make up for the rudeness. Nobody deserves to be shouted at when they are on their holiday.

Convenient location, nice courtyard

Sheets were unclean when we arrived, and the kettle didn't work, though they fixed that the next day after we raised it. The cleaner came to the apartment on our first night while we were out, leaving the lights on, with no notice. The WiFi didn't work (despite turning it off and on again!) the sofa bed was noisy creaky, hard and uncomfortable, and the bath mat and tea towel were grubby.

NOT AS PICTURED - DISAPPOINTING STAY - REPLACE MATTRESSES!!!

The property is affordable and centrally located - ground level so easy access. fans provided to keep cool. kitchen equipped. managment was responsive to inqiuries/issues. In this price range, you can't expect too much for central Venice.

--property was NOT as pictured. not even close. company manages several properties so be AWARE of which one you are getting. --replacing the nasty mattresses and towels would go a long way to improve the place. you can't expect much for this price, but these are simple and inexpensive upkeep items. --no paper products on arrival. --we arrived late, so had to find the place on our own, which is difficult in Venice streets where GPS often does not work and paths are like a labyrinth

Location was good. Host were easy to come in contact with.

Dirty everywhere. Bad comfort. There is not 2 double beds. There is 1 bed + 1 sofa that is not comfortable to sleep in. We could feel the iron through the madrass. Extremely humid in the apartment so the bed sheets were wet every night when going to bed. No phone connection(!!!) Way to expensive for what you recieved. We feel the marketing is not true to what it actually is

close to San Marco. Nothing else.

Terrible place. The host keep coming into the apartment without my permission. The lock was broken and I had to wait outside 3 hours for someone to come to help me. The shower is broken, some lamps are broken, toilet paper holder broken. Not so clean at all. You can definitely find a better place with a cheaper price.

Our stay was fine, but very average value for money.

We booked this property on the day of arrival, because the hotel we booked cancelled the reservations. Location was nice and the apartment was in comfortable size for two people. The host gave accurate instructions on how to get to the room.

The room was cold, the radiators did not heat, and we were not given a comforter, only a sheet and found some blankets in the closet. When we entered the room at 3pm (check in was from 2pm) the cleaning lady was still in the room, which was in a total mess. The host only gave us the location when we were already at the Venice airport and the location did not match the pin that was marked on Booking (the property was further from the center).

The only thing I liked about this apartment, was were the location, of it was.

Apartment was not clean. Bedding was not changed. Duvet don't have a cover. For my daughters duvet don't have a cover.
