Delightful apartment with amazing view of the Grand Canal, beware of 3 flights of stairs.

The apartment itself was very nice, well stocked, very clean, as described and pictured. Great communication with setting up arrival and departure water taxis, optional transportation to Murano Island, answering questions about the apartment and navigating the city. Nico, the owners son was amazing, meeting us at the water taxis, going through the apartment info, carrying up most of the luggage for 8 ladies on arrival, coming back on departure for the walk thru, helping again with luggage and getting us to the water taxis! Information folder was very helpful. The view of the canal was awesome! We loved sitting by the window watching all the action.

The problem was 3 flights of stairs to get into the apartment. 55 uneven steps. We specifically asked about stairs inside the apartment, as I have the thread in my messages. We thought there was 1 flight up, as shown in a picture of the entrance. On Aug. 8, 2024 I asked about stairs due to some ladies needing "no stairs" in the main living areas. The question was answered that there was one room on the upper floor but the rest on same level. So with this being asked, the 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment should have been clarified!! This caused great stress emotionally and physically for especially 2 of our ladies, plus several others had challenges as well climbing these stairs. There was a 200 cash deposit required in euros that we were not aware of on arrival. That was difficult as well as we had to gather this money from our party then it shorted us for the next few days of our trip.

Location and cleanliness. Spacious. What a great view. You could not ask for a better location.

The beds were low and not very comfortable. The stairs to to upstairs room are steep. The stairs to the apartment are numerous. The cash security deposit is a giant hassle and if you’re leaving early morning it’s nearly impossible to recover it.

The host was wonderful and the location was incredible with an amazing view of the Rialto Bridge. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. It is a beautiful apartment steps from restaurants and sights.

The hot water didn’t work as expected and our host was very responsive to our concerns.

Everything! The location is top notch with a killer view. The apartment is spacious, clean and beautiful and Ilaria was an absolute delight as host. She was so helpful and accomodating and gave us all the inside info on eating where the locals eat!

location is just perfect!!! I can’t even imagine what could be better and I am not for the first time in Venice and had many other “experiences”. The owner is extremely nice and always ready to help in any possible way. we were 9 women in the flat and each of us was absolutely happy with the quality, everything is very clean and one can have coffee with the view to the Rialto bridge.

A view of the Rialto Bridge plus a wonderful and accommodating host!

Our hostess Ilaria was so accommodating and wonderful! She was easy to communicate with a head of time. She arranged a water taxi for us to the apartment and met us there to take us to the apartment. She has put together a binder with great suggestions on Non-tourist restaurants which were fantastic! The view of the Rialto Bridge from the living and kitchen area can not be beat! The bedrooms were not facing the bridge so they were very quiet. She also arranged a boat and tour for us over to Murano. I highly recommend this apartment!

Very well equipped and clean apartment over two floors. The kitchen has all facilities. Very beautiful dining and living rooms. Four bedrooms and three baths. A wonderful view on the Rialto bridge. The landlady is extremely helpful and welcoming.

Perfect location, friendly host

Perfect central location with direct view of the Rialto bridge. Excellent host - Ilaria picked us up at the Vaporetto stop and gave us a lot of useful tips and recommendations for restaurants and activities. We could also leave the luggage in the appartment while it was being prepared for the next guests which gave us some extra hours to explore. Very comfortable appartment, spotlessly clean, inckuding washing machine, dishwasher, AC etc.
