The apartment itself was very nice, well stocked, very clean, as described and pictured. Great communication with setting up arrival and departure water taxis, optional transportation to Murano Island, answering questions about the apartment and navigating the city. Nico, the owners son was amazing, meeting us at the water taxis, going through the apartment info, carrying up most of the luggage for 8 ladies on arrival, coming back on departure for the walk thru, helping again with luggage and getting us to the water taxis! Information folder was very helpful. The view of the canal was awesome! We loved sitting by the window watching all the action.
The problem was 3 flights of stairs to get into the apartment. 55 uneven steps. We specifically asked about stairs inside the apartment, as I have the thread in my messages. We thought there was 1 flight up, as shown in a picture of the entrance. On Aug. 8, 2024 I asked about stairs due to some ladies needing "no stairs" in the main living areas. The question was answered that there was one room on the upper floor but the rest on same level. So with this being asked, the 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment should have been clarified!! This caused great stress emotionally and physically for especially 2 of our ladies, plus several others had challenges as well climbing these stairs.
There was a 200 cash deposit required in euros that we were not aware of on arrival. That was difficult as well as we had to gather this money from our party then it shorted us for the next few days of our trip.
