The bed was maybe a little hard for me.But i had an extra madrass with me 🥰

The location in the old town overlooking the Moorish castle 😍 The staff were really helpful especially at reception, and it is close to all the amenities including the beach 👍🏼
The lighting in the bathroom could be better, a shaving light for men would be ideal - I was still alright 👍🏼

We liked everything about the hotel! Fantastic Location right in the centre. We stayed for three nights! The room was cleaned with towels changed daily. The toiletries in the bathroom were great. Renewed complimentary bottled water daily. Staff were lovely, especially very pleasant girl in the breakfast restaurant The breakfast was very good which was served to the tables with two choice courses/ eggs i.e omelette or scrambled eggs/ Croissants or other bread choices/ pancake option as well. Our room was facing the main square but was very quiet. Nice rooftop bar, but we did not get a chance to try as it was too cold at night to sit outside. Great italian restaurant (Gusto) front of hotel, which served fantastic pizzas. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel to others.

Hotel has great location, next to all sights and museums. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Electricity went off. And never came back. My family got locked in pitch black elevator and it took long time until they manage to open the door and get them out. The room was without lights and heating, no internet, couldn't charge phones. In the lobby they kept the main doors open to the street so all cold air came in. Breakfast room door was broken, it was cold there as well. We got only partial refund of the 2nd night.

Excellent location. Great for buses, shop and bars.
No mugs/cups for tea and coffee in the room

There was a red alert rain warning in place. So we arrived earlier than planned, hoping to avoid the storm. We never left the building after 5 pm. We had a few drinks in the roof bar before dinner in the restaurant. Great food. A lovely way to spend the storm.
Our room. We stayed in the same room before. It had a lovely view of the castle. So when we opened the windows, we got a shock. A massive extension is in progress, completely blocking the view. We are relieved to be only staying one night and don't have to endure construction works

Location, staff were very helpful, nice and clean, the only annoying thing was the noise from people going up and down the stairs to and from the restaurant shouting appart from that an excellent hotel.
Noisy drunk people

Great location. Attractive room. Kettle provided. Views of the Alcazaba from the terrace bar
Due to it’s central location it was noisy at night. Earplugs were supplied but we managed to sleep without. It might not suit some people

Location is ideal - central to attractions, restaurants and bars.
Goggle Maps didn't recognise the location so there was quite a lot of walking to do to locate the hotel.
Bed was really comfortable although bedroom size was just adequate for a brief stay.

It was a little noisy at night

The room was beautiful and spacious, the bed comfortable, great shower, and thoughtful amenities like earplugs. The staff stored our bags until our room was ready and helped us call an early taxi when we had to leave the next morning. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar and beautiful views from the hotel
It was right next to several late night establishments, so it was loud late into the night. Thank goodness for the earplugs!

Everything about the whole 5 days stay was fantastic. I left my phone in the taxi and the concierge member of staff went above and beyond with helping to get it back, which we did within 2 hours. Thank you
To have room service.

Location was excellent. Very accessible for key sights. Beach and marina are ten minute walk away so a pretty accessible base for exploring Malaga. Room was very comfortable and very clean. Complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste was a nice touch. Very good shower. Even though it was in a busy location it was not noisy.

Well what can I say. This hotel so exceeded our expectations. I understand it’s a room with no kitchen hence the two star rating, but it is so much more than that. The room easily accommodated four of us and was spacious and practical and included a fridge as well as tea/coffee making facilities.
The reception staff and very helpful and always give you a Ola or hello whenever you pass.
The location is also amazing with it being right next to the Roman Theatre and Alcazaba. We were worried about the noise, but it was just a little background noise which didn’t affect our sleep at all - especially after a day out exploring beautiful Malaga.
We opted for the breakfast option and could have no complaints the food was always cooked to perfection and the staff were very friendly and accommodating - especially with our vegetarian requirements.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would have no second thoughts in rebooking next time in Malaga.

We've stayed here before for the location and general ambience of the old town and proximity of interesting things to do, see, and eat. Our third floor room had fabulously tall windows with traditional shutters. Great bar and breakfast room overlooking the Alcazaba at the back of the Hotel. Nice cocktails- nice staff...
A little noisy at night but it was holiday time so no big deal....

Fantastic location, 10 min walk from train station right next to Alcazaba with roof top bar/restaurant for Breakfast and evening sunset. Right in the old town and 10 min walk to the Marina
We were on the first floor overlooking the street which unfortunately was a little noisy at night as I am a light sleeper, but they did provide ear plugs!

The Alcazaba Premium Hotel is in an excellent location right in the heart of the old town.
Enjoying breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Alcazaba was delightful and being so close to the entrance was very useful as we were able to be one of the first in the morning to tour.
The hotels close proximity to all of the action; tapas bars, shops and sites was perfect.
Do not miss the Picasso Museum!!
The room was fine and the bed was comfortable.
Nothing to speak of.

Location was amazing. Staff were lovely. Very clean.
Small room and bathroom.
Popular bar on rooftop with DJ playing all night - very noisy with clients coming and going upstairs.

Great location for exploring the city
My room was below the outdoor balcony of the bar/restaurant. Late at night there was excessive noise of chairs being moved back and forth across the floor of the balcony. I was also ‘locked’ out of my room twice. Neither my key nor the receptionist’s master keys would work - someone else had to be called in to open it. I was on a tight schedule and this caused me unnecessary anxiety. Whilst the staff acted as promptly as they could I did not feel they grasped the gravity of the situation at the time.

Superb location, very large room (junior suite) with everything we needed- kettle fridge hairdryer basic toiletries. Great views of the Alcazaba- especially from the rooftop bar.
Small thing but the cups were the tiniest coffee cups - a larger cup would have been good- im being picky!!

Absolutely brilliant location, right in the centre with lots of restaurants, bars, and the alcazabar right next to it, and everything else within close walking distance.
The rooftop bar was great with a good selection of drinks, cocktails, and a lovely view of the street and the alcazabar, especially nice lit up at night.
It was also nice to eat breakfast with this view in the morning. We didn't use the restaurant other than for breakfast, but breakfast was very tasty with lovely omelettes, scrambled egg and lovely bread, plus fruit or yoghurt and muesli, tea, or coffee and juice.
We stayed in a junior suite with a view of alcazabar, though building work was currently going on at the time of our stay which slightly hindered the view. The room was huge, with good storage, full length mirror, the most comfiest bed and pillows, and black-out shutters. The shower was also brilliant. The hotel was quiet most of the time for getting a good sleep.
Any staff we came across were helpful and friendly, and they booked us a taxi for our departure to the airport. They also gave us a map on arrival.
As breakfast had been paid for within our price, we were informed on the first morning that we could only pick one topping, for example, the omelette. I asked for bacon and cheese and got told we could only have one -we did feel this was slightly stingy, but the taste was however lovely.
We had one night which was really noisy when the roof top bar was particularly busy -there were people talking really loudly, heels clonking around, doors slamming and general noise, and had little sleep -,unfortunately on a night when we had to be up early the next day for an excursion.
We did feel that there should be a cut off time for the public using the hotel bar as it is open until 2am. It could also be difficult to get a decent seat at the bar on busy evenings, again with the public (non-hotel residents) using it, which was a bit frustrating seeing as though we were paying to stay there.
We felt the lighting could have been better in the room.
It also would have been nice to have larger coffee cups in the room. We bought a jar of coffee, but ended up not using it, as the cups were only an espresso size.

Pleasant and helpful staff
Breakfast a little limited in choice

Big spacious room in very convenient location but suggest booking a room on the higher floors to get away from street noise as this is a busy area of Malaga. Taxi rank just outside, which very handy and one of our favourite rooftop bars at the top of the building. Large comfortable beds.
No natural light as huge shutters on the window and very noisy when opened plus no privacy so had to keep closed. Only one glass, no cups, so only one of us could have a drink in the morning. Be really useful if there was a mirror above the dressing table.

Breakfast is a portion version, not buffet. but it was tasty with great view to Alcazaba. Location is quite perfect.
Building is a bit noisy from staircase and aisle.

The room was small but confortable and clean. The shower cabin can be upgraded a bit, but overall the place exceeded my expectations. The location is really good. In a vivid area but surprisingly once you close the windows the noise is gone ))
Not anything particular

The location if you want to be in the center of Malaga is perfect. It was really nice to have breakfast with a view of the Alcazaba right next to you. The staff was very polite and courteous especially during a very busy time (Semana Santa) when everyone is a bit frazzled. I booked very last minute so I didn't have high expectations, but it surpassed even the reviews. The room was extremely clean and well appointed. And considering the amount of street noise, there was very very little when the windows and shutters were closed.
If you have a room on the third floor, there is quite a bit of noise with furniture being dragged across the floor in the morning from the breakfast room which is above. In the afternoon and evening, there is also quite a queue of people trying to go into the bar and lounge on the top floor so using the lift was difficult at times due to crowding. The bar guests seemed oblivious to the fact that it was a hotel and there were guests. However, the noise throughout the building from this crowd was non-existent which was surprising.

A lovely boutique hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were excellent, particularly the gentleman serving in the breakfast room. Food was very good too. It was genuinely accessible for disabled people which doesn't always happen across European cities.
Very noisy. We were there over a weekend and the noise from the street woke us repeatedly which is not very surprising. However a bigger problem was internal noise : all doors banging and squeaking, sounds of metal trolleys from very early morning. We were on the first floor near the lift and a storage room so perhaps other rooms would not be so effected.

Central location near everything
The shower was often cold or slow to warm up. We stayed for a week and only got a kettle on our 3rd day but no cups were provided. Also cleaners left us with no towels after cleaning one day. We requested them and they were delivered.
The location was very busy and loud at times. The room was a bit small but comfortable.

Nice clean room and bathroom. Location is perfect for bars, restaurants, musea, sightseeing and beach.
Very noisy. 3th floor is below restaurant so between 7h and 23h lots of noise of chairs moving on the floor.
At night very loud hotel guests shouting, laughing and banging on doors.
Normally not a person to complain, bit this was very uncomfortable.

The location was fantastic & the staff was pleasant.
There are a couple bars & restaurants near there and it makes it a very noisy place to stay. I would not stay there again. I didn’t sleep much during my stay.

Wanted to see Alcazaba in Malaga&it was right next to the hotel so that was great. Also, the view of alcazaba from the hotel rooftop.
Can’t request water when I need I just get one bottle a day&when shops closed and I needed one receptionist told me to wait the next day.
Also,no one to help with the bags knowing that we parked our car far away& had to come a long way walking. We didn’t know there was an issue with Malaga parking spots because of its narrow streets.

Loved the location, breakfast on roof terrace overlooking Alcazabar, helpful staff. Bed super comfy, room big enough.
Floor hadn't been swept when we arrived, staff sorted very quickly. Am a light sleeper so outside noise was difficult. Kettle in room would have been lovely. Would def consider staying again as the plusses were great!
