Hidden gem in the shadow of the cathedral

We stayed in the penthouse with terrace. The view of the cathedral was fantastic, and it was lovely to sit outside and enjoy the sun. The room itself was very clean, modern, nicely decorated. There was no actual reception in the building itself, but this didn't bother us since the staff was easily reachable through whatsapp and very responsive and helpful.

We were 3, but the room is actually meant for 2 (also only 2 high chairs, 2 sunbeds, and very little cupboard space). We had breakfast delivered and the food itself was tasteful, but never delivered within the requested timeframe - something to take into account if you for instance have plans early in the morning.

Absolutely flawless stay!

We are a family of four and stayed at this apartment for two nights. Since it was a last-minute evening booking, we didn’t know how to get in at first. A staff member at the nearby front desk kindly helped us open the door, added extra pillows and blankets for the kids, and even gave us a small gift — we were very grateful for her thoughtfulness. The apartment is beautiful, spotless, and well-organized. It’s just a two-minute walk to the Cathedral and the Picasso Museum. From the rooftop, we could take amazing photos with the Cathedral in the background. We were very impressed with both the apartment and the staff, and we promised to stay with Coeo again on our next visit to Malaga. By a twist of fate, our flight was cancelled that night, so we stayed in Malaga for five more days. We returned and booked another Coeo property, Frailes, for four nights — which we enjoyed even more! Now back in Berlin, we can say that Coeo truly exceeded all expectations, and we will definitely stay with them again next time we visit Malaga.

Value of Money, Location an advantage!

The location for this property is right in the centre of Malaga and you can just walk down to all the key tourist attractions. So, it is a 10 on 10 for the location.

House keeping team needs significant improvement as they lack a checklist that includes basic amenities that needs to be addressed every day. Suggest they uplift this in the near future.

Perfect

We could not have had a better stay with Coeo. The apartment was beautiful, central to everything you would want to see and do. The views of the cathedral were stunning and we were a street away from the centre where we saw the amazing Christmas lights. Despite being central the apartment was quiet and had everything we needed. The team were incredible, holding our luggage, giving us tips and checking in everyday to see if we needed anything. They really went the extra mile and we will definitely be back!

Perfect 6 Night Stay in Malaga

The apartment was fantastic and we had no complaints at all. Perfect central location for the historic centre of Malaga, The apartment was well equipped and was very clean with daily service too. Bed was very comfortable .There are several apartments spread over 3 floors and there is an elevator in addition to stairs so perfect for those who need the extra accesibility. I would highly recommend here and certainly we would stay here again if visiting Malaga

Nice room and had a lovely time.

The location is superb. All the restaurants and shops are 5-7 mins walk. And under 10 mins walk to underground station. The host responds very quick and always there to answer my questions and give suggestions. And you can store your luggage before and after check in/out which is very convenient. Would definitely recommend this place.

The cleanliness, the essentials available, the welcoming wine and snacks, the location and the staff communication via WhatsApp. Everything superb.

Perfect location close to Cathedral.

Great central location. Very comfortable with plenty of room and good facilities. Roof garden was a real bonus. Reception staff very helpful and attentive.

We had a few technology problems accessing the apartment but intercom link to the remote reception allowed us to resolve this quickly.

Loved it!

Prefect spot for a family, its a quiet street next to the busy streets. Nice apartments and well organized, there is no personel but they are online for you if anything shouldnt work like it should. We loved the place!

You can easily access, we think that only cars are not allowed in the area as we saw warnings for the shopping area, but we still parked in the city garage nearby to unload our luggage.

We were disappointed that the picture on the listing didn’t match the apartment - we misunderstood that the top lounge area shown in this was not available to us. We felt it was a very expensive stay not to have the pool and rooftop views included. Our free taxi from the airport didn’t happen as we couldn’t find the driver. Due to issues with our phones, we hadn’t been able to pick up the helpful messages left for us when our flight was delayed. We spent a long time looking for our names on a placard as we had suggested would work. We think the driver may have waited for us but we had no means of knowing where he was. The taxi we had to hire cost €30. The free coffee offer was tempting but it would have entailed a long journey for us to find it! Some coffee making supplies in the flat would have been better.

Disappointing for the price

Location and design

We came to the apartment and at first it was really pretty, but as soon as we started using our kitchen appliances and the bathroom everything was broken. We showered with the big shower head for 10 minutes and the whole apartment was flooded, our suitcases and backpacks were wet and everything inside them. The drain in the shower was clogged. When we contacted the apartment staff they blaimed us, because as they said “it was not like that before”. They also did not provide us with any towels, we had to ask for towels which we later used to stop the flood in our apartment. After we tried to use the kettle in the kitchen but the handle was broken off so we had to ask for a new kettle. We tried to cook for ourselves but the stove was also broken, staff had to come again to fix it. The toaster was broken, our bread was like char no matter the temperature. The dishwasher was also broken, it could not be turned on. We had bird poop on our balcony when we girst came to the apartment. The “welcome” apples they left is on the table were rotten inside. And the apartment manager came to our room to “check” everyting, but he was very defensive about everything. We were blamed for most of the stuff. This was on our first day of staying.

The location was perfect. The breakfast was exceptional. Had the choice to have in room or walk to cafe about 300 metres away. We chose to eat in cafe and it was good. The choices were perfect. Staff at the accommodation and breakfast cafe were so friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our shower, which they fixed immediately. Thank you.

Unbeatable location, well designed apartment and perfect base for exploring Malaga.

The location of this apartment is superb. You are literally 1-2 minutes from the best restaurants, cafes and shops in Malaga. It's tucked away on a quiet street and it easy to access.

The Wifi was patchy during our stay. I felt it could have been resolved quicker as we were without it for around 30 hours of the stay. The automatic watering system in the courtyard made it unusable as it covered the floor and chairs in water every morning.
