Malabar by Petit Palace anteriormente Icon Malabar

Breakfast was varied and replenshied quickly, rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were helpful and efficient and hotel was walking distance to most things and there was a taxi rank round the corner.

The only small thing I would mention is there wasnt really a bar although they did serve alcohol from the restaurant and you could sit outside

The welcome from the staff was excellent and they couldn’t do enough to ensure we had all we needed. There were gluten free options for breakfast which was great and plenty of choice in general for breakfast. Location was excellent, short walk to the port area and the main town. Lots of choice for eating out only a short walk away.

We had a wonderful stay at Malabar this September. The hotel staff were friendly and super helpful, the rooms were clean, modern and had both an aircon and powerful fan, perfect for the hot days and nights. The hotel location is ideal for exploring the Old Town with key attractions like the market and shopping/tapas bars less than a 5 min walk away. Outside the hotel are multiple local cafés and small grocery shops. Its also only a 7 minute walk to the bus terminals if you’re interested in day trips to Nerja for example. We would definitely book here again if we return to Malaga.
