We arrived very late but were welcomed with a room upgrade. Corner room on the 4th floor with street views. The stairs & lifts are puzzling but you quickly get your head around it! Great location for the old town. Would stay again if coming back to Malaga.

Stayed here from Feb 23-25. While the location is good, our experience was ruined on the final night. At 5AM, the fire alarm went off repeatedly starting, stopping, and restarting. It was incredibly confusing. We prepared to evacuate, but there was zero staff presence in the corridors to guide guests or explain what was happening.
The hotel claimed the 5AM alarm was just a guest smoking. If that’s true, why did the alarm stop and start repeatedly for an hour? Either the hotel has a serious technical glitch they aren't fixing, or they have no control over their guests smoking in rooms (beware of rooms with smoke smell if that’s the case). Either way, we were left exhausted and unassisted by staff in the corridors. Travelers beware if you actually need a full night's sleep or smoke smell free rooms.
