Stunning hotel that I would highly recommend!

Just couldn’t fault it! Beautiful boutique hotel ! Fabulous location in the middle of the old town. From the moment you walk in to the beautiful bedroom with a superb view over Malaga to the best breakfast! The staff were so lovely and so helpful. They recommended fabulous places for coffee, brunch , dinner tapas. They couldn’t do enough for us. I would love to return and stay! Thank you !!

The hotel is gorgeous from the moment you walk in, the decor is really wonderful, and the chocolate cake is delicious!

The hotel is brilliantly situated for exploring, but this does mean it's worth bringing good ear plugs to help drown out weekend noise. The breakfast wasn't quite as good as the options you can find nearby outside of the hotel

Wonderful stay in the Center of Malaga

Wonderful stay at Cristine Bedford in Malaga. The Hotel is a cozy boutique experience where comfort and style are mixed. We loved the room (ours was the classic double), the interior design and the comfort of all our stay. Pedro from the restaurant was wonderful!

I thought the per night cost would have involved a wider ranging and more comprehensive breakfast. The breakfast area could have done with at least one extra member of staff.

Everything was great!

The facilities were very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The amenities were nice too. The staff at the hotel were very helpful every step of the way. They were available whenever needed and even helped with food recommendations and provided us with ideas of activities to do. They also arranged a taxi service early in the morning with a take away breakfast. Very nice touch. Would definitely stay here again.

Almost everything!

The street is full of restaurants and clubs, and there is one specific club below that resulted in plenty of noise until 3-4 am. It did get annoying at some point, but generally property is great!

Peacful, beautiful, warm and welcoming hotel with lovely staff and a personal touch with a history

Dear Madam/sir, it was a lovely hotel, and the staff was extremly helpful, friendly and receptice. Wonderful breakfast, absolutely percect! Some lamps in the room did now work. I stayed in room 31 and 32 All the details was fantastic. It was a wonderful stay and I hope to come back!

A few lamps did not work in the room. Written information about the neighbourhood could be nice and the history and thoughs about the hotel in the room. I think a small television in the room could be good which could be covered behind something or surrounded by fabrics could be a good thing as I would have liked to watch the news. Music in the room, or bathroom, could be something extra, if you could turn it off. As a whole! Marvellous- 10 out of 10

Extremely nice Hotel. Excellent Staff. A very nice Breakfast, with a superb choice. Hotel is different in that it is Real Olde World. It has Superb Bathroom Fittings. Excellent Air-conditioning.

Fantastic views and concept, but potencial to upgrade the service and welcoming.

Loved the interior, boutique charm and the concept that rooms are named after Christine’s fantasy friends. The breakfast was fantastic. Hotel is just in the historic centre of Malaga and in a reach to every main attraction for the city days. Used Recommendations for places where to eat - restaurants and tapas bars were fantastic.

Unfortunately to say for a new and Boutique hotel, the service was not top notch. Please check if maybe the personal is too burned out or busy with work (what was interesting for so little room number count). We even started to smile after the 3rd situation in our 2 day stay, naming the hotel as “forgetfulness retreat”. 1. Receptionist (who was lovely), herself offered to call Flamenko place to check if they had spots available (then forgot to do it, as as she said “have been busy”, even though we haven’t see any people. Why offer then?) 2. We had misunderstanding that we put the room sign incorrectly and the cleaner did not clean the room. We told this to girl asking if then can clean it while we go out. She said that of course, they will do it, and they others also sometimes put the sigh incorrectly, also asked the room number and told the toothbrushes will be brought, as well as asked - when should they clean the room. When we came after 3 hours, nothing was touched. When going out again and asking if maybe the cleaner was busy, she was not sure why she did not came. For bigger surprise - when we asked for at least clean towels, she said she don’t know where they are. Everything can be acceptable and everyone can mix something up, but the answers were very wierd for a type of hotel like this. Maybe the workload is really too much as the girl told “that she is finally leaving” when going home, visibly being exausted. Please take care of your most important employees. 3. Breakfast staff seemed a bit distanced as well, mixing portions what was ordered and some of the quests needed to point out that there is no bowls, no knife/fork on some of the tables or that something is missing. (More for a big hotel style not a boutique). Having a possibility to compare this with other boutique hotels, could add some authenticity in service. P.s. just a simple question “how was your stay?” or recommendations is a simple touch for free that makes a difference to “ok, bye”

Great value for a superb stay!

What a fantastic location. In the heart of the historic area. The staff was friendly, and check in was easy. Impeccably clean rooms, comfortable bedding, great views, but quiet at night, and resheshing air conditioning. Such a unique hotel with so many unexpected extras- bathrobes, slippers, beverages, and roasted nuts left on the bed. Not to mention a personal welcoming note in my room upon arrival! Such attention to detail in designing the rooms, the common areas and especially the lobby. Breakfast provided a wide range of options. I recommend this to anyone staying in Malaga who appreciates a unique accommodation and outstanding service.

This is not a 5 star hotel and should not be advertised as one

Quirky, unique boutique hotel with nice and friendly staff.

I rarely leave reviews and this may seem harsh but this is an Extremely Misleading Listing – Not a 5-Star Hotel and not listed as one on their website or on the Spanish Tourism Registry as having any Star Rating. While the hotel is centrally located and has some charming features, I feel genuinely misled by how it is presented on Booking.com, I booked and paid for a 5 star hotel. Upon check-in, I asked the receptionist whether the hotel was in fact a 5-star property as listed, and she replied, “No, it’s a 4-star, but our experience is more like a 5-star, you’ll see.” Unfortunately, this was not the case. Here’s what we experienced during our stay: * No TV in the room (Basic for 5 star or even 4) * No iron or ironing board * Room phone not working (later issue resolved) * No hot water throughout our stay * A/C unit made loud crackling noises all night, preventing proper rest * No room service menu available (despite room service being advertised) * No visible room service or staff to support it. * No valet or hotel parking – we were told to park 200m away in a public garage No 24-hour front desk, despite this being stated in the listing – I received a message after check-in stating reception was only open from 8:00 AM to midnight and to call a mobile number for help outside those hours Staff were kind and doing their best, but the hotel seemed drastically understaffed for a 4 or 5 star property. I only saw one person who was doing check in/concierge/receptionist and a restaurant staff member during our stay, plus a cleaner briefly in the evening. This is not the standard one expects, or pays for, when booking what is advertised and priced as a 5-star hotel on Booking.com. The misrepresentation of services and amenities caused inconvenience and discomfort, and disparity between what was advertised and what was delivered.

Traumhafte Ausstattung, wunderschöne Zimmer, großartiges Bad mit freistehender Wanne.

Leider blieb das Silvester Menü hinter unseren Erwartungen zurück. Beim Frühstück ist es schwierig, einen Tisch zu bekommen. Hier sollten nur Hotelgäste Zugang haben, damit dies gewährleistet ist.

Viaje en pareja para conocer Málaga.

Todo en general,las habitaciones y la cama muy cómodas y limpias, sábanas y toallas bordadas con las iniciales del hotel,un lujo. La ubicación perfecta céntrica para conocer todo el centro de la ciudad. El personal atento y pendiente de todos los detalles,muy amables indicando donde ir,sitios para comer.... El hotel es romántico y encantador,en un edificio antiguo,muy bien cuidado. Un hotel de 10 en todos los sentidos. Lo recomiendo.

Por poner algun pero,el bufet del desayuno un poco corto,escaso,aunque lo suplen con platos calientes hechos al momento,pero tienen que ampliar el bufet. Todo estaba muy rico y bien hecho,el café te lo hacen a tu gusto,y tostadas y huevos.
