Overpriced and disappointing.

The drive up from the lake promised spectacular panoramic views, but the view from the room was over the bus stop and a building opposite. Reception closed at 15.30 despite Booking.com saying to book in from 16.30, so greeted with an envelope in a box. On site restaurant and bar were closed, a notice on the door saying to use restaurant 400m down the road, which turned out to be expensive. Electric outlets needed special adaptors which were available from reception but reception was never open. Difficult to communicate with staff in English, but we were helped out by fellow German guests.

Loved the location. Set in a beautiful historical village. Very friendly staff. Shame our balcony view room was impeded by an ugly building across the road. Also, the restaurant wasn’t open so very limited dining options in the village.

. I liked the huge hotel room . I liked the hiking paths and the mountains near the hotel

. the breakfast was already served separately and standing on each guest' s table . I was served meat for breakfast : I denied the meat and returned it and I asked for a 5 minute' s boiled egg . the public transport (bus) is not running frequently and I left the hotel early in the morning in order to hike down the steep path to the catch a train at the next train station : Tenero (TI)

Hotel is fine and good room. Clean and bed are very good. Breakfast was very good and fast service ! In front of Hotel you find 2 bus service so you can travel to Locarno or other way.

Welcome was a little strong. He has no time and I must fill paper (I think the Hotel have all information normaly) and he copy my ID and I must wrote my ID NR. again. Later contact with staff was very friendly and helpfull. The reception is very little and you must stay offside and in same time it's also a seller corner for souvenirs. Perhaps it's possible to have a bigger reception ? // In the night you have the bell from the curch all time so close windows or someting.

Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Hotel liegt oberhalb Tenero an bester Lage. Tolle Aussicht über die Magadinoebene. Das Personal ist aussergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück mit allem was man braucht.

Etwas störend war die Bus-Haltestelle direkt unterhalb unseres Zimmers. Insbesondere abends/nachts.
