Good and new hôtel but expensive considering the service, the location and the parking offered.

Everything was new and we'll maintained. Very nice room, very clean and different than the usual hotel rooms you find.

The location is shared with a mall. The parking is not private. Anyone can walk by and just look at (or do anything to) your car. if you have buggages, you have to take them to your room on your own, with the trolley, in order to protect them. I booked the hotel by trusting the pictures, but when you get there they show you that only half the parking space is theirs. The rest belongs to Lidl and the rest of the stores in the mall. I am fixated on that because that was the only reason I chose this hotel and I paid a little more for a night's rest on my way to move to Northern Europe. Lots of buggages and valuables that I thought I could protect easier. Also I booked for one person so they didn't provide a double duvet for the double bed. The one they provided was more like decoration for the bed's lower half, and couldn't cover a person. The room temperature was perfect though so I didn't mind, but you might.

Better than expected

Amazing outdoor swimming pool, saunas and jacuzzi - as expected. Surprisingly good breakfast - exceptionally good. Not great location but for overnight stay on the road trip - more than fine. EV charger at the hotel door.

We had mountains/parking view, so all was great, no complaints. Not sure how it is for those who have windows to the swimming pool side as it could get a bit noisy from people having fun in that area.

A new and exceptionally clean hotel with comfortable rooms and a friendly, helpful staff. Our room was ready upon arrival—even with kids—and had a beautiful mountain view. Breakfast was varied with plenty of options to choose from. We appreciated the free parking and complimentary spa access included with our booking. The location is convenient, close to the train station and restaurants. An outstanding experience overall.

Great new Dorint hotel

The hotel is small but beautiful and with excelent services. Located near the Riazinno train station, it is extremely easy to arrive. The employees are very kind and always helpful to the customer. The rooms are big enough, the shower and toilet are big and clean, the rooms lights system is very modern and the noise from outside is well isolated. The pool is perfect for children as it is not too deep and there are sunbeds very comfortable. The garten with the restaurant is also really nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent and included all type of foods and beverages. Our stay was really relaxing at the Dorint in Locarno

Overall, it was a good, great-valued experience with a few minor drawbacks.

I liked the convenient location close to the train station, making it easy to explore the area. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated, providing a pleasant space to relax. Additionally, the breakfast was delicious with a good variety.

However, I didn't like that the gym facilities were outside and unfortunately closed during my stay. I also found the room walls to be a bit thin, which affected my privacy.

Belle découverte

Petit déjeuner super, très riche, très varié avec de tout du sucré au salé. Choix des boissons également très varié. L'accueil de Fata était super et cela a rendu une très grande plus-value à notre séjour. L'emplacement idéal = proximité de la gare et Locarno se trouve à moins de dix minutes en train. Le PSA n'est pas très grand mais tout à fait suffisant.

Au début de notre séjour, nous avons été logés dans une chambre pour handicapés. Cela n'était pas très plaisant en sachant que cela rappelait en plus l'état de santé de la maman de mon épouse qui était dans une situation de handicap. Le lendemain, nous avons été relogés dans une chambre conventionnelle et tout est allé mieux.

Falsche Angaben des Betreibers: Das Fitnessstudio in das man offiziell trainieren gehen kann gibt es nicht mehr. Der SPA Bereich macht erst am Mittag auf. Im Winter gibt es keinen Pool Keine versprochenen Gratis Getränke wenn man auf tägliche Zimmerreinigung verzichtet. Alles für sich in Ordnung aber es wird im Internet und im eigenen Infosystem im Hotel falsch beworben

Ein tolles Hotel, mit hilfsbereiten und freundlichem Personal.

Die Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet, das Essen im Restaurant. Das Personal war immer höflich und hilfsbereit. Besonders hat mir gefallen, das man mir geholfen hat, meinen Koffer zu öffnen ( Schloss defekt). Die Anbindung mit dem Zug ist hervorragend.

Man könnte bitte im Wellnessbereich anschreiben, wo die Saune und Dampfbad zu finden sind, eben so der Whirlpool. Desweiteren sollte man darauf achten, das der Aussenpool so abgesperrt ist, so das es für Alle sichtbar ist. Was mir persönlich gefehlt hat beim Frühstücksbuffet hat, das für Diabetiker kaum Alternativen gab. Es gab keine Infos am Empfang betreffend dem W-Lan und zu dem Tablett welches im Zimmer zur Nutzung angeboten wurde. Bitte in den Zimmern eine kleine Erklärung dazu legen was es mit dem Tablett auf sich hat.
