Outstanding .. everything was super nice. Super COMFY bed, stunning view, super clean, delicious breakfast and helpful staff. I would like to thank Greta ,she is super nice, helpful and so kind. She was helping in every single detail. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and quality was excellent. The bread and croissant mmmmm everything exceeded my expectations.

This place is my takeaway for our Ticino trip. Just beautiful

Incredible place in every way

Beautiful room with all facilities necessary and more, amazing view, comfortable beds (with remote controls!), good amount of privacy despite the massive windows, great breakfast, parking space just outside, good restaurant next door. I booked the Junior Suite, for reference. Honestly one of the nicest hotels I've been. The staff was also super friendly and helpful. Additionally, they have a super nice pool area surrounded by greenery for a good amount of privacy.

The staff didn't speak much English which was OK since I know a little Italian and German so we could get by, but if you know no other language than English, this could be difficult. They are super nice and helpful so if you do speak the language, you'll be golden. And if not, charades are always useful. This place is not for those who want easy access to the lake or to Locarno. It needs to be reached by car or bus - I would not recommend walking up the hill!

The Property owner welcomed us in person. Super friendly lady. She also helped out at breakfast and even offered to pick up two glasses of wine at the restaurant next door since she was not allowed to offer in-room service due to Covid restrictions. A wonderful experience all together!

Great stay, love the place and the staff/host!

It was a great stay and the host was perfect in looking after us. Despite the Corona measures everything was organised perfectly and we throoughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!

Clean rooms, great view, large shower, lots of towels and all necessary for hygene.

Everything was great. Perhaps a bit wider selection of foods for breakfast would be great. The bed was quite short, so if you are taller than 185 cm it could be hard to fit.

Exceptional

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was perfect (a peace haven just minutes from Locarno, with a direct bus to the city centre) and the room was cosy, large and clean (with a beautiful view over the lake and mountains). We will for sure go again !

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, riesiges Bad sogar mit einem funktionierenden Wasch-WC. Dusche, riesige Badewanne! Die Inhaberin des Hotels ist eine wunderbare Frau, die einem wirklich jeden!!! Wunsch erfüllt. Tolles Frühstück, was keine Wünsche offen lässt. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist grandios.

Sehr freundliche Besitzerin und Angestellte Super Grotto neben dem Hotel und man bekommt immer Platz, wenn man im Hotel bucht!

Der Pool war zu kalt- ist nicht geheizt und klein, aber bei heißen Temperaturen eine willkommene Abkühlung.

Traumhotel

Die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich und durften sogar das Zimmer auswählen. Die Inhaberin wie das Personal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft und der Bus hält direkt vor dem Hotel. Wir sind bestimmt nicht das letztemal dort gewesen.

Der Empfang war super herzlich, die Zimmer mit viel Liebe und super tollem Geschmack eingerichtet, das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen und der Ausblick von der Terrasse ein Traum. Wir haben uns von der ersten Sekunde sehr wohl gefühlt. Dass die Sauna jeweils privat pro Zimmer reserviert ist, lässt viel Privatsphäre. Chillen kann man von der traumhaften eigenen Terrasse. Herzlichen Dank für alles, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Hier fühlt sich der Gast sehr wohl!

Das Hotel hat eine bevorzugte Lage, den Lago Maggiore und Locarno direkt vor den Augen. Die Besitzerin und die Mitarbeiter umsorgen ihre Gäste liebevoll und empathisch. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und vielfältig. Man parkt unmittelbar am Hotel, und direkt daneben hat es ein tolles Restaurant mit einer qualitativ hochwertigen Küche. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, und denken gern an die Zeit zurück.

Da fällt uns nichts ein 😉.
