Big room , spacious nice view

Definitely missing simple stuff like glasses…silverware…. There is not even one glass …. Its not hard to add them in rooms !

Cheaply made, loud, not worth it

Really close by bus from Locarno centre

Everything made cheap, bad soft mattresses, hearing your neighbors as if they were in the room, check-out at 10am but cleaning personal making noise as they take the house down just after 9am, even sending message through inofficial channel to signal I have to go. No respect for sleep or privacy.

Modern apartments for 1 night

Large room and bathroom with very good modern renovation. There is a fridge in the corridor. This is the fastest and most detailed instruction ( how to get in, where restaurants are, other information) I have ever received. Like most of these apartments, you can find the key by code. Good air conditioning.

Parking is important to us, but I didn't see that it was available for a fee, for 15 francs per night. I refused to pay and asked for the address of possible car parks. There is a car park on the same street , number 56 ( near the restaurant and pharmacy). As far as I understand it is free at night and weekends, but you should check if it is important to you.

Lovely lovely stay in the paradise of Locarno at absolutely lovely Villa Belforte!

The space was open and clean and very pleasant.

I stressed about the junction between the bathroom floor and the room floor since the shower water went towards the door and I noticed that the bottom part of the door had already suffered some water damage. I didn’t really have a problem myself with the issue, but I’m worried for the future if that problem is not solved.

I liked the price. It is very cheap for Locarno/ Lugano.

Please explain that parking must be booked in advance. I didn't book it and arrived very late we had a lot of trouble to park the car. I though I can park the car and pay after. I didn't understand that there is no one at the place.

Pleasantly surprised travellers

The rooms were really clean and felt like they were newly renovated. The location was a reasonable walk away from the center and the neighbourhood was peaceful. Check-in was really easy!

The apartment was bigger than expected. Wc paper like towels were available. The refrigerator is also big enough

Unfortunately, the apartment was not clean, the floor was very dirty, the contact person very unfriendly and not courteous. It was a very hot day and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. It also did not have fans and even when we asked, we received a curt answer that there are no fans. We could not sleep for a second because of the heat. We opened the windows, of course, but because the apartment is right next to the busy street, we could not sleep a second because of the noise and mosquitoes. I have had the same room in February everything was fine, we didn't needed a fan becaus it was in February. But I paid at that time 100 euros for the accommodation instead of the 317 euros I have paid now. In the living room there is 1 small sofa that is probably there as a decoration, because it is so small that you can hardly sit down. So in total this accommodation is not to be recommended.

Good location

For the better part of £300 this was a terrible hotel room. There are no staff- everything is done through a series of boxes. The rooms are basic to say the least, they have no a/c and mine at least was next to a busy road. This is a popular area and books up early, I suspect that the owners is taking advantage of this.

Nice old apartment with great rooms. Everything was clean and as described. Kitchen ara was a bonus and room with own bathroom and toilet.

Check-in instructions and method was a bit complicated. Kitchen supplies was narrow. Shower wet the whole bathroom floor.

There was a very unpleasant musty smell in the room and in the hostel. I had a reservation for 3 nights. But that's why I had to leave 1 night before. Also the room color is very depressing.(blue).

The landlord will only reply to your request by SMS or WhatsApp do not accept phone calls. The most annoying thing that happened was that he changed the price right after I contacted him to get to know more information regarding the location; the price went from 99.00 to 129.00. The other thing is to think twice before booking room number 4 as it is very close to the road and you will regret it at night because of the noise of motor vehicles.

Great stay, rooms were surprisingly quiet, and facilities were great! The kitchen served us very well and rooms were nice and clean. Location is great!

Perfect!!!

The welcoming and the communication with the owner was personal and professional. Parking at the location is available (and recommended!) Alternative parking in the vicinity is difficult to find. We recommend the property because it suited our needs perfectly and is good value.

Perfectly fine for the purpose, staying one night in transit in Locarno - very clean, easy to enter with good instructions, good bed, great blinds to make the room dark.

Weekends we went have a leisure time but unfortunately until midnight 01.00 we couldn't sleep because of noise. Room no 6 some young boys are making party and continually ring door bell and disturb us. Kids also didn't sleep well. Otherwise everything perfect.
