Peace, happiness and love.

First of all the attention of Sabrina, the owner, but also the location and views, comfort and amenities. Also the location, neat to Locarno and very close to amazing places in Switzerland but also northern Italy. And last, but not the least the breakfast - a real treasure to mouth, eyes and heart.

Quaint well equipped cottage with a spectacular view

Well equipped quaint cottage with a magnificent view of the lake, good parking close by. Extremely friendly and helpful host who prepared delicious extensive breakfast. Nice interior, prosecco and pastry as welcome. Lovely little village located up the mountain above Lago Maggiore. The loggia where we could sit and sip wine was a hidden gem.

Lovely place to stay in Ticino! Quiet and relaxing. Delicious breakfast! Nice rooms and comfy beds. Sabrina was so welcoming and nice, we had a great time!

Close to Locarno, but it's up the hill so walking to the center is not so easy! And there is not so much to do around, better to have a car.

Lovely place, full of charm and super friendly owners.

Slightly idiosyncratic lay out of rooms with shower and loo actually in the same room as the bed, with a sliding panel for modesty - but it's still basically the same room.

A stay in paradise

Sabrina and the rest of the team were very friendly and gave a warm welcome. The room itself was very clean and comfortable with a fantastic view of the lake and mountains and the property generally had lots of relaxation areas which we enjoyed. Breakfast was also very nicely presented and delicious. I would highly recommend Case di Sotto and would definitely stay here again.

No air-conditioning but this wasn’t such an issue as the fan was sufficient for us.

Such a special place—amazing job of restoring a historic treasure and making it welcoming and comfortable for guests.

Those with limited mobility should be aware that the historic nature of the property means uneven walkways and stairs.

The perfect getaway for couples.

Sabrina, Dalila and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. We were there for our honeymoon and they went out of their way to make it extra special for us. We felt relaxed, at ease, and easily could have stayed longer. This place is perfect for a romantic getaway, as was evidenced by the many couples we saw there. Spectacular views, beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast every morning. Can't recommend it enough!

Exceptional

Well above expectations. Friendly and flexible host and we felt very well taken care of. Good standards, newly renovated; good water pressure and lots of hot water in the shower. We didn't read much into what we booked and ended up in our own little house with a fire place and a bottle of prosecco waiting for us in the fridge.

We came by train and walked up, that was our own misstake; it's steep stairs all the way. But hey, we came to do some hiking! -Be aware that there are busses running all day until late. =)

Excellent stay in the heart of nature and very kind host

- The houses are well-situated in the nature, with very nice garden. They are designed beautifully, everything is very picturesque! - The rooms are also very nicely designed, chic and the Junior Suite has a great terrasse with a great view of the lake and a balcony. - Breakfast is very tasty, with Ticino specials. Your table will be prepared with care, nicely designed napkins and fresh flowers😊 - Our host, Sabrina is very kind and helpful. - If you are looking for a peaceful, high quality and a very beautiful place to relax, this is the place to go.

- Junior suite does not have a door that covers its living room and bedroom area. Only bedroom has a door, would have been nice to have a door for all properties of the suite, for privacy and sound isolation. - Bathroom and toilet is inside of the bedroom, if you are a couple, it might not be ideal to hear/smell everything.

Das Frühstück ist sensationell. Und die Lage super, der Ausblick ist wunderschön. Die Apartments sind liebevoll gestaltet.

Fliegengitter an manchen Fenstern wären für uns super gewesen da es an heißen Tagen in den oberen Stockwerken sehr warm wird, sonst war wirklich alles super.
