It is okay for a short stay in Amed, but definitely needs urgent renovation

The location was excellent, right in front of the beach. We could also have little breakfast and rent scooter + snorkelling gear

It is in a low condition, not well maintained. The doors are not closing fully, the bathroom is smelly, thats why the room as well. In the bathroom there was constant water on the floor, which was very inconvenient.

Hostel room is decent

Shared room is quite spacious, has a big locker, and big beds fit in them, breakfast is simple, but decent a thin banana pancakes and coffee or tea everyday. Location is good, room has breakfast

Showerroom needs more structure to hang clothes and belongings. Bed sheets need to be updated, my pillow cover had some stain on it, but I asked it to be changed, and they did right away, wifi didn't work great on my bed, but was alright in the common areas

THE WORST HOSTEL ON EARTH. MOLD EVERYWHERE.

Other than the ideal location and spacious lockers to store your belongings, there's nothing to like about this place. It is THE WORST hostel I've ever stayed in. I don't comprehend how they're still in business.

EVERYTHING. The place was beyond dirty, mold everywhere, including the actual pillow (not the case), ceilings, bathroom and kitchen (see proof in pictures), the sheets had holes in them, the paint on walls was peeling and the beds are way too close to other people. If you value your health, DO NOT stay here. Also, the road noise is unbearable. On top of that, they decided to renovate the entire floor while I was there. Did not advise me of this at check in and I had to step over concrete to get to the room and then I had to remain inside there until they finished. They finished after 7pm.

Excellent bunk beds

One-of-a-kind bunk beds, see my bad photo, walls between beds are actually made from bricks, with a real mini brick stair, zero stepping noise, zero squeaking, zero bed movement. Beds are clean but are reported to have bedbugs, fortunately I didn’t caught any and the owner worked on other beds as I’m writing this. Kitchen, fridge, cute water dispenser, warm shower, free breakfast with the budget is a steal. A 2 minute walk to the beach. Would totally sleep here again.

Bathroom looks ok but could be cleaner. A cord extension at the working table would be great. The blanket is literally a large 1-layer sheet of fabric, no complaints but it feels strange.

Found it a great location and very much enjoyed our stay.

Great location for beach opposite (2 minutes walk) where there are some places to take shade and have a drink. It’s a good snorkelling spot and you have the ‘under water temple’ snorkelling spot right there-all ‘walk in’and accessible. Up the road (the hill) there are some really nice restaurants with good sunset views-all easily walkable. You are at one end of the beach though so it’s a bit of a walk along the road for access to everything on the strip. Family/people running the property were very nice and helpful and always spoke to you and asked how you were. Amed is a superb place to go if you want to dive and snorkel-best place we went for that in Bali.

Breakfasts were the same and not always well cooked (a little burnt) and there was only one plug in the room-not well located. Otherwise it was great value accommodation in a good location and I would recommend it.

We booked a bedroom for two which was big and clean. The personal was really kind and you can rent materials for a really good price. there was water available and the breakfast was included. The quality price ratio was really good. I would highly recommend to book a bedroom here.

Family-run homestay with spacious rooms.

Very near the beach. Room was spacious. Family-run, all were helpful. The owner was able to drive us to local places several times, so we avoided renting a scooter. We mentioned that the AC was not cool enough and he had it serviced the same day and it solved the problem.

The rooms smelled of mold and the roof looked like it was about to collapse above the bed. Everything had mold on it (curtains, walls, bathroom bin, toilet paper holder) and the smell of mildew was horrible. Rooms need to be updated terribly.
