The place is beautiful 😍 the pictures do not do this place justice. The cottage is lovely and cozy and the gardens are huge. If you want a place to go and unwind peacefully in the middle of nowhere then this is the place for you.
There are a few places inside the cottage that anyone over 6 foot might bang their head if they are not careful, but that is only to be expected in a place this old.

Pencopi is beautiful, I loved every moment! I was snowed in 🤣 it was minus 10 at night, I stayed nice and warm with the fire and although the weather was against me I still managed to get about, the property has everything you need including excellent WiFi and phone signal the smart tv was a plus and much appreciated, the location was beautiful high up on the hills overlooking the valley with the village below,It really was a privilege to stay here! I would return in a heart beat. Mr Morgan has done a brilliant job of preserving this wonderful piece of history, I thank him and his wife for sharing the property
Everything was perfect!

Firstly the location is amazing. We were lucky enough to have good weather and going out to the view over the hills with a cup of coffee in the morning was a real treat. The cottage itself oozes character and was lovely with more then enough space for the 4 of us. The cake and bread on arrival was a treat and very much appreciated. The area is really nice with plenty to see and do within driving distance.
The cottage was generally clean however there were a couple of cobwebs but being a 17th century cottage nothing too bad. The dishwasher is a bit useless, it's a tiny tabletop one and doesn't work very well. We tried using it but gave up and went back to old fashioned washing up!

Location is simply superb. No traffic noise, little light pollution and wonderful views.
Cottage itself is not modern so anyone looking for accommodation like that is in the wrong place. If you like individuality and a little quirkiness thrown in then you will love it. (As we did!) The doorway from the double bedroom to the en suite toilet and washbasin has to be seen to be believed! Cottage was nice and warm even with freezing weather and strong winds.
The trail camera we set up outside only caught a fox, a field mouse, one blackbird and a robin! Would have hoped for more but that may have been the location of the camera. Just to qualify the comment about cleanliness, this is no reflection on Mr Morgan it is simply a fact that the nature of the cottage means there will be the odd cobweb.

It's like living history but with all modern conveniences. There is a floor made of inlaid pebbles - just perfect for dogs as you don't have to worry about messing up. Everything was comfortable and welcoming. There was even a cake waiting for us on arrival.
It wasn't a problem for me but if you were wanting to be near shops, it's a bit of a hike.
