Lovely Property

This property offers a great potential: an entire attached house with spacious rooms that is quite ideal for 2+ persons. It is equipped with everything you need and everything is in working order. It has a lovely backyard with steps up to various levels depending on your liking. We often sat at the highest terrace for dinner when the sun was out. It is close by the center of the town with lovely restaurants and groceries.

The backyard could use some help in terms of maintenance and the kitchen could be a wee bit cleaner. The bathroom shower has some issues with temperature and it needs a new shower curtain.

Great location for exploring

This is a great little cottage in a great location for exploring Snowdonia and North Wales. The walks around the area are very easily accessible. The cottage is very well equipped. Parking is readily available on the street outside. We were only there for a weekend and there was plenty to do.

A few local restaurants only accept cash, so take plenty and the cottage does feature a few cobwebs!

Was value for money.

Location & Quietness was ideal for what we wanted, local shops were handy.

Some confusion regarding the bedding & towel changes didn't happen until the evening of our arrival although the cleaner was really helpful, the kitchen could do with some modernization, the bin lid was not working, the cooker hob fan was not working, i was unable to locate the grill tray handle which made the cooking difficult.

An ideal place to stay in Eryri

Very cosy house, tastefully decorated in an ideal location for visiting sights in Eryri and for tackling some of the wonderful walks in the national park. The complimentary wwlcome gifts of wine and snacks were much more appreciated and the information pack outlining various walks in the area was very helpful . I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family. It became like our home from home. We were sorry to leave!

There is no real garden to speak of, just a steep set of concreted terraces but this is a minor point and the views of the craggy mountains above Blaenau Ffestiniog compensated for this. As others have pointed out, the shower is a bit temperamental but it's manageable and it's a very nice, roomy bathroom in general

Cosy weekend away in lovely surroundings

Very cosy and nicely located for the town centre, which was a 15 minute walk. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Parking was easy - plenty of space along the road outside. There was useful information about the area in booklets that the hosts had left.

Lovely little cottage just needs a couple of tweeks

The beds were really comfy! The main bedroom was beautiful and the kids bunk bed was great. The kitchen was well equipped. The decor was homely. The bath was big. The dining table was gorgeous. Location was good. Lots to do nearby. The owners provided really useful information folders about the local area and places to eat.

The shower did not work, it was either hot or cold and despite the owner trying to help we were unable to use it for the week. We didn't really like the sofas in the sitting room. They were uncomfortable and a foot stall would have helped. Would have been nice to access the catch-up apps on the TV.

Just what we needed

House was very cosy. Everything we wanted was available. Very clean. Kitchen equipment working well, appliances all had instructions available. Lots of info on the local area. Could park right outside the property. WiFi is excellent. Kids loved their room, small but bright and airy. Very quiet even though it's on the A470. Reasonably priced for Easter. Major mountain bike centres are close by. Would stay again.

The shower didn't work properly, and the temperature swung from hot to cold constantly. I have reported this to the owners and they're getting someone to look at it. A bed was very wobbly and mattress uncomfortable. However, I was told that this was being replaced in 3 weeks.

Christmas holidays

Really lovely and cosy place, we had run away from busy town, was perfect location not far to the beach and to nearest towns. We were surprised to find a Christmas tree 🎄 and all decorations,kids loved it a lot

Excellent weekend stay at Manor View, firstly walked through the door to a lovely bottle of wine, crisps and peanuts left by the host for us, the house itself was very cosy and clean. After a wet autumn day walking up and the down the hills admiring the views then coming back and sticking the fire on and playing one of the board games that are left at the house was brilliant also great family time

Only negative I can think of is the water pressure for the bath taps is rubbish.

Location good, roadside parking excellent, supermarket close by, attractions close by. Comfortable furniture.

At the rear of property: Two flights of very steep slate steps, not good for anyone with reduced mobility. No easy access to table and chairs set if wanting to eat outdoors.

Beautiful clean cottage, nice and quiet environment. Wales cake was over welming with lots of brew kit.

plenty of space for family of 4, lovely furniture and lots of facilities in the kitchen. Huge shower and bath room. Overall well happy with the property.

it’s not like or dislike thing but double bed was bit wobbly and need attention on the double bed door floor. Nails (screws) are slightly sticking out and you will notice with the bare foot. Please don’t take this in negative way just to make the property even better.

The property was lovely and cosy with comfy beds and supplied all we needed. Central location to the areas we wanted to visit.

If you’re a light sleeper it’s slightly noisy from 6am in the mornings with the traffic going past on the main road.

Das Häuschen ist wirklich reizend, die Küche gut ausgestattet und wir hatten eine fantastische Zeit! Die zwei hohen Terassen bieten einen tollen Ort für ein Frühstück mit Panoramablick oder zum Sternegucken in der Nacht. Mein Bett war sehr bequem und ich habe mich ein bisschen in das Häuschen mit seinem blauen Gartentürchen verliebt.
