Nice weekend away to climb Snowdon with a friend and my 3 dogs
Nice location for exploring Wales. There is a lovely walk nearby which the dogs loved, up a couple of hills then 2 little lakes and a big one that you can walk round.
Garden could have been tended to - overgrown shrubs, broken fence, broken chair and dog waste on the grass.

Good size cottage with great views
The cottage was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It had everything we needed. The neighbours were all really lovely and friendly. We had a beautiful view of the mountains. Cute enclosed garden at the back which was great for our dog.
Needs a little TLC. Parking was tight but we managed ok. A few cupboards in the kitchen were being used for storing paint and kettle, toaster boxes and the one under the sink needs clearing out. We didn't take too much stuff so we just put our stuff on the side. Apart from that, all ok.

It was amazing. The kids and I had a great time
This place is amazing. Beautiful quiet road with a waterfall at the end. The village is lovely and the view of mountains is stunning. The pictures don’t do it justice. The house itself is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. My kids loved the den downstairs and the heated blankets were a nice touch. The town is a few minutes drive or a 15 min walk. Definitely try the Model Bakery. The Kurdish pasty is delicious and the owner is so friendly. The fish and chip shop is very nice too. We bumped into a group of bikers in town who were very lovely and very happy to show my kids theirs bikes and let them sit on them. It’s a great base for exploring. We went to both Barmouth and Harlech beaches and visited Harlech castle. Lovely scenic drives. We also went to the Eryri National Park. Definitely visit the Swallow Falls when there. It is worth it. Take change though as it’s £2 per person and the card machine didn’t work. We also drove back a different way on the way back so we could explore some of the villages on the way back. Portmeiron is absolutely beautiful and we stopped for a coffee in Porthmadog high street on the way back. We are looking forward to coming back next year to visit the places we didn’t get to see.
Parking is tight but there is enough and you can park a little up the road. The neighbours were very helpful when I couldn’t find any one night. I accidentally blocked the road one morning while unloading some shopping and the neighbour was so lovely and patient while I moved it.

Fist Air b&b, thankyou we are fans. it was lovely for us there
good location for our needs, nice little comfits and treats for us
floor coverings, mats. DIY products in cupbords. clutter of the ironing board and hoover.
tip: swap the hinges to the other side on the fridge.

Awesome Propery
Brilliant location and stunning views. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and had everything we could need. Best view from a kitchen sink I've ever had! Not too far to local shops and activities. Beautiful waterfall at the end of the road too. Good sized bedrooms with space for our gear and parking wasn't a problem.
There wasn't anything we didn't like, the only slightly difficult thing was the shower with my youngest as its fixed. It was great temperature wise and the pressure was great. Just required me getting in first to sort out temperature etc.

Great cottage
The cottage is lovely. Lots of space, exactly as it looks in the picture. Kitchen perfect for cooking hearty meals. Close to the local pub (Y Manod) with very kind locals. Will come back!

Can recommend this property
For overseas visitors the street was a bit confusing, look for the little iron gate and the parking tight but that is no reflection on the property which was good. Owners & staff very helpful. Warm & toasty , another comfy lounge chair would be great on the main floor. Had everything you needed when away from home. And woke up to great views in the morning!!

Beautiful area
The area was very beautiful and quiet. Could hear the water falls from the cottage. Drove to Llandudno for the day and loved it up there.
The weather, but this can't be helped.
Also, on arrival we found 2 floors tiles were smashed and loose in the kitchen area.
The toilet seat in the family bathroom was broken so when sitting on it, it slipped about. When I contacted the host, I was informed that the people who maintain the property couldn't get there until wednesday(the day we left) and that the toilet in the basement would be fine to use. However this was not ideal for some of the family due to the narrow stairs. I find this poor service as if there is an emergency you are stuck.
The living room is in the basement, and it is very cold down there, even with the heating on it takes a very long time to heat up. However, it smells musty down there. The sofa down there also has cushion covers that need to be washed as they smelt and the sofa wasn't clean, stains on the cushions and what looked like food crumbs under the cushions.
The cottage was generally not a high standard of cleanliness for a holiday let.
Also, not enough cupboard space for dry food etc if your staying for a week or so, as most the cupboards are full of paint pots and things that in my opinion should not be there.
This is a total shame as the area is beautiful and we just felt the cottage itself let it down. We left on Wednesday but felt like leaving sooner.
No instructions for recycling, nor bags to put the food waste in. And no mop for us to clean the floor.

The cottage beat our expectations!
Really cosy & homely. Spacious. Little touches eg welcome bottle of wine & beer, electric blanket! Well equipped.

Fantastic cosy cottage, perfect base for exploring the incredible area
I stayed here with my best friend and her two children for our annual Wales trip, and this property was a perfect base for exploring Snowdonia. It had everything you need to cook, have a great nights sleep and get that home from home feeling.
The only thing I would say is there’s a lack of mirrors! The house could do with at least one full length mirror

Superb
Lovely house with stunning views. A perfect base for our exploration of Snowdonia. Generous welcome gifts and good communication with hosts. A very positive experience all round. We can't wait to return to this beautiful part of the world.

The charming property in North Wales provided a cosy and comfortable retreat amidst breathtaking beauty, making my stay
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming property in North Wales for a week, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The property itself was a hidden gem, nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of North Wales. It provided a cosy and comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the surrounding countryside. The location was ideal, allowing easy access to the stunning natural landscapes. Whether it was investigating the nearby mountains, visiting historical sites, or simply enjoying the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside, there was always something captivating to discover. Overall, my stay was nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a delightful getaway in North Wales.

We couldn’t use the basement room as it was very cold and the smell of damp was not nice at all .

Brilliant 👍
Good layout inside. Nice welcome pack for arrival. Comfortable rooms. Great location.
Clearer instructions how to find it as Sat nav just takes you to general area. Had to park car up n walk out to find it because roads are so narrow.

Many thanks to guy and Sarah for allowing us to make unforgettable memories on our girls weekend away whilst staying at your beautiful accommodation.
Such great facilities with so many unexpected finishing touches and would highly recommend.
Staying at no 10 has provided a great base for our adventure weekend, walks around the stunning local area alongside our Snowdon (Watkin’s) adventure followed by Velocity zip wire the next day.
Hope to see you soon.

Lovely place and everything you need, if they would just allow guests to heat the house themselves.
Very clean, all amenities needed, and thoughtful touches left by host.
Very very cold. it was between 8-10 degrees the two days we stayed. Normal Welsh winter. Heating only on for small amounts of time by the host as they said it was to save money. Electric blankets on beds only on for set periods of time again with them explaining the costs of running them in the messages sent to us when providing information to access the property. Open fire in kitchen burns through logs very fast and doesn’t retain heat. One bag of logs provided. We spent £20 on logs for two days. Log burner in lounge shown is no longer there, and lounge is in the basement and very cold.
incredibly steep and narrow, winding steps to top floor double (white) bedroom - no mention of this in write up, and signs up on wall in property to warn of the stairs. I think it would be courteous to mention this to potential guests in the write yo on Booking.
We are Welsh and live in a Grade 2 house in wales with the same amount of bedrooms, we don’t use our heating at home only our log burner, and our house is so much warmer than this one. We are used to cooler temperatures, but this house was almost unbearably cold - despite us layering up and using duvets downstairs.

Stunning
We were absolutely shocked when we saw the views, knowing that we are going to stay in this place. The pictures uploaded on booking do not compare with the reality. The cottage is very beautiful, cosy and clean. The welcoming was so nice and unexpected!
We had no problems whatsoever and the hosts were willing to help with anything we needed. I strongly recommend if you want to spend some time in nature and enjoy silence.

Beautiful property
We liked everything about the property. Location was great for where we wanted to go and extremely quiet. The extra touches that Sarah and Guy have added were fantastic games for adults and children and books available to use. The property was extremely clean and very spacious. Plenty of information of things to do and visit. Both children didn't want to leave. Thank you for the wonderful stay in your beautiful home. Will definitely book again if we visit North Wales again.

Cosy stay in wales
Clean, spacious and comfortable. Lovely welcome gifts when we arrived. Provisions for lighting a lovely fire, very cosy after a long day hiking up Snowdon.
Well eqipped but generally but missing some basic things: hand-wash, bottle opener, wpoden spoon, eating spoons. Very minor in the scheme of things and easily rectified! Otherwise great place and location. Thank you!
Highly recommended. The cottage was in the perfect location for our hike up Mt Snowden. About 40 mins drive away. The town of Blanneau Ffestiniog is lovely; magnificent waterfalls (after the rain especially). Our Cottage was cozy, clean & inviting with an open fire/ log burner a great bonus, kindling & logs provided. Crockery, glasses, cutlery, towels, microwave, & hairdryer all provided. Lovely bedding, beds & pillows very comfy (I think our double bed on 1st floor had a memory foam topper) much appreciated after a 9 hour hike! Lovely place, would return whenever we can. Thankyou to our hosts. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The Front door would not lock from outside. We had to lock it from the inside then go out through basement back door. Needs rectifying as a matter of urgency really. No food waste little bin bags/liners, I had to improvise with a large freezer food bag.
No matches or gas lighter to light the log fire. I improvised lighting a bit of kindling on the gas hob. Not the safest but needs must. We don't smoke so don't carry lighters etc.
A little coffee table/occasional table in kitchen diner would be useful for hot drinks when watching TV on the little sofa. Just tips for more comfort/convenience - nothing major.
