Peaceful spacious and a cosy house! Exactly what was needed after a climb up mount snowdon!

Really nice remote location, surrounded by nothing but fields, hills, sheep and slate! Lovely walks nearby, easy to find and still within reach of Betws-y-Coed and nearby towns. Main bed was comfy, everything worked as it should and it was very dog friendly.
You could tell the house / decor was quite tired - stained sofas, holes in the cushions, stained carpets, and the whole place could do with a deep clean. Empty spray cans in the bathroom, rusty BBQ with cigarette butts in it… It was tidy, but it needed homely touches. A welcome book would be helpful - with the WiFi code, local walks, some history about the house and the slate quarry, where to get food etc. We also couldn’t get the heating to work, sounds a bit crazy in June but the house was cold in the evenings. Thankfully we’d brought blankets / layers and got the gas fire working which made the downstairs feel warm and cosy. The bedrooms were cold though and we had to nick a duvet off one of the spare beds to have on top of our bed.

Nice quiet location very rural & pretty place. Beds were comfortable we had a good nights sleep.
It was not clear lean! Smelt of wet dog when we arrived. Lots of hair dirt on the stair case on each step. Thick layers of dust on the skirting boards. Hair in the shower. Who ever made the bed had thrown it together not presentable. Boiler had been turned off so had not hot water or heating until we contacted the hosts & we got it sorted.
