The location was remote, & we were lucky that we were able to get to the property in our 7 seater, but it was quaint, with a beautiful stream by the side, & the village has such an incredible history. The walks to & through the quarry were stunning, & the people nearby were really helpful & welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked so we had all the utensils, cutlery, & crockery we needed. The sitting room was spacious & it was lovely to relax in after a day climbing mountains!
There were 5 adults, & the bath took an awfully long time to drain, & filled the waste pipe. The shower was easier, but I'm just a bath kinda girl.. the others all had showers, though. There is only one loo, with 4 bedrooms, & it is in the same room as the bath/shower, although we were lucky to manage.

Cozy home, very spacious, with a well equiped kitchen. The communication with the host was very easy. The area is very calm, with many trails in the area. Would like to stay longer to enjoy the area and amenities more.
The pillows were a little too soft. It is not so close to Bewts-y-Coed, but that was not a problem to us.

One combined bathroom and toilet for a group of 8 people was a stretch

The location is superb for hikes.
The property was not clean. The bedding was done only in two of the bedrooms. The shower although new was not working properly (not enough pressure). Neither of the fireplaces worked properly.
