Comfort and practicality in a stunning setting with essential facilities nearby.

Location, setting, feel of the cabin and facilities (mostly - see below).

Just a couple of little quibbles. The Sky remote lacked a battery so we had to buy some and only 2 teaspoons and no scissors on the kitchen. Plus the shower went cold sometimes without warning. Being the owner of a holiday home elsewhere, I'm somewhat reluctant to mention these points but I know that some people complain volubly about the smallest thing so they're offered as friendly nudges to achieve an overall 10 out of 10. We did really enjoy our all too short stay.

Comfortable and good value base for outdoor activities in the area.

We had a comfortable stay and particularly appreciated the excellent heating, the generous parking area, cozy living room, big porch space for outdoor gear and location right next to the park as well as the five minutes drive to Coed y Brenin, where we spent most of our time during the visit.

As others have mentioned, some of the interior, particularly the kitchen and bathroom is a bit tired and the water pressure and temperature in the shower is barely adequate. The very slippery deck definitely needs grips all across. A new frying pan without a buckled bottom would be nice and there were clothes left behind from previous visitors. However, having stayed in other cabins in the same park before, this is excellent value and a great base for outdoor activities in the area.

The deck was slippery, we were warned but we still could not move around without worry.

Nice stay at a hidden, cozy holiday village at the vicinity of Snowdonia

Was not cleaned. Bathroom, particularly the shower was excessively small. Water pressure was too low. You have to plan well in advance for a good shower.

Not the best

Location and stunning views

The log cabin is in desperate need of some tlc, very tired looking and not very clean, cobwebs everywhere and not ones that appeared overnight, they have built up over many months, shower not great and no tv as it doesn't work, two hoovers of which one doesn't work and the other taped up in a few places, dinning room table of no use unless you are very tiny as where it is placed is not wide enough to get people both sides.

Really nice cosy cabin with plenty of peace

I wanted to be nice and take of the bed sheets before we left and as I got to second pillow, i took of the pillow case and there was a HUGE i mean HUUUGE spider sleeping under the pillow case, im traumatised

Nice peaceful few days at shower notice which was ideal for us

Lovely cozy lodge , very clean , nice outside area with gated decking which was safe for the dog

Positive with Constructive Notes: Great Stay with a Few Suggestions for Improvement

We had a lovely stay at the cabin and truly enjoyed the peaceful location and the comfortable facilities provided. The setting was ideal, and overall, it was a pleasant experience for our family. However, there are a few points that we feel should be brought to the attention of the host for future improvement. We noticed that there was an insufficient supply of hand wash and dishwasher liquid, which made daily use a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the vacuum cleaner (hoover) was completely non-functional, which made it difficult to maintain cleanliness during our stay. We believe addressing these small issues would enhance the overall guest experience. Thank you once again for hosting us.

Weekend away

The cabin was beautiful, just as pictured. A home from home. Dogs have to stay on the lead in the village area. There is a dog walking area. They can be off lead, and there is a stream that my boys loved.

A cabana fica em um espaço com diversas cabanas parecidas, lugar tranquilo e em meio à natureza. A cabana era muito confortável, com todos os equipamentos e facilidades necessários.

A conexão de internet era muito fraca e não havia também conexão com canais de tv. Apesar disso ter sido avisado em bilhetes disponibilizados aos hóspedes, a limpeza da casa poderia ser melhor.
