Front garden great view outside of the mountains, might catch people climbing it and sheep roaming on it. Nice little old school style cottage/miners house, with a nice little front garden which has a very small space in the back of the house. House had everything you need and complimentary food items. If you’re looking for a rustic place with a log burner and many books and games on the book shelf then you’ll enjoy this. By no means is it a fully re furnished brand new build mass produce style, it has its charm. Mount Snowdon is a 25m - 35m drive depending on the path you want to take everything you need very close to this apartment which can sleep 5 people. Porthmadog is a very close drive and worth checking out and also has the oldest railway company in the world still operating old trains, take the short trip up through the trees and to a coffee shop and back. After that there’s a place called Port Merion which you can check out all short distance. Co Op up the road 2 minute drive which has parking. Petrol stations are easy to find. You’re sorted for at least 3 days of activities. Where you park is opposite the house in a bay, very convenient to unload, you’ll hear water, keep following it to the right as you leave the property through the front gate. 2m walk you’ll hear and see water and a little iron footbridge and further on a railway track.

Lovely house, very pretty, fab decor, and a comfy homely feel, with an anzing bath and shower, super comfortable beds and plenty of room for people and pets. It was spacious and really well-equipped with everything you could need - even logs for the fire, which we didn't expect to need, but we arrived just as the heat went and the rain started. It soon passed though so don't let that put you off. We watched the steam train go past just across the lane. Convenient location for everywhere we wanted to visit, and the landscape is breathtaking. I fully expected fairies to pop out on the way in as we drove through the woods and arrived quite late.

This is totally our personal experience and might not be applicable to everyone! We were ok to stay for 3 nights but we will not stay in that accommodation again. Kitchen is well equipped and the location of this home is beautiful. As soon you come out of the property it feels fresh and you can hear the waterfall near by.

We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children(11 & 15). So this place was not the correct choice for us as the kids room had a bunk bed and neither of them were comfortable in the space. We were there during April 3rd week, it was still a bit wet and cold, kids room radiator was not working so had to move the one in the living room to the bedroom upstairs. External radiator in kitchen area was also not working/heating. Adults room was good but I wonder if people actually stayed and used the room for themselves when they designed it. Had our own discomforts. Bathroom in this accommodation is only on the ground floor and way back in the property. No washroom upstairs. So, if you wake up middle of the night to use the restroom you have to go downstairs and all the way back feeling cold in the middle of the night. TV works but you should log into your own Netflix account unlike what is mentioned in the specs.
