The property price is affordable, and the location is ok with a good view. The property is not that clean but everything is in working order. We did have a comfortable stay after a long day out and about the Snowdon area.

Only stayed an hour the steps up to property were impossible for my partner to negotiate
Couldn’t negotiate steps up to property to steep and slippy. Wasn’t told in advert about this. Road was ridiculously steep. No tv worked. Back yard inaccessible

Very comfortable bed, beautiful kitchen and heating is lovely
Quite difficult to find the property (I have now added to google maps), the washing machine in the kitchen smelled like cigarettes, the entryway to the home smelled like wet dog. The bathroom upstairs has black mold on the ceiling and the fan doesn't work. The oven was not clean, and the dishwasher still had food bits around the drain and build up around it's seal. In it's current state I don't think the property is worth what you pay for it. The first thing you see was overflowing recycling and a full garbage bin when walking up the entry path. Almost every venetian blind had parts broken off. This property could be so much nicer with a bit of love.

Liked the the space not cramp.
Parking is first come first served and the roads a steep so be careful. If you have a pet the back gate is still not fixed and it's just a box blocking the space where a gate should be. Don't leave the bathroom window open at night as every crawling creation gets in and its a havoc to us the toilet if a person in you group hate bugs and there will be alot. Some flies but as I said keep windows closed to keep bugs at. Overall you get what you pay for which is just ok.

The Indian food.
The property needs a lot of work as it was damp, towels were old, it wasn’t that clean, no welcome pack, absolutely nothing welcoming.

Get good guidance over the phone
Not enough toilet rolls , no paper kitchen towel available , not enough ferry liquid, utensils are not properly cleaned and when we entered it was so smelly which was annoying for us

Great location , comfortable beds nice to sit at the table in front in the sun. bathroom and kitchen nice and clean.
shower room needs updating , strange smell in the back bedroom so we both slept in the front one. No instructions for bedding and towels after our stay - couldn't open back door to take rubbish out. minimal kitchen equipment not even sissors. fyi it said there would be a welcome pack but there was nothing .

Great location. Parking could be limited but was fine when we were there.
There is parking about 30 meters further down the lane anyway
Its on a steep hill but thats what was expected with the location. You dont get hillside cottages that are on flat ground
Stunning views and very reasonably priced with everything you could need all in good order
Nothing we did not like but the following would give peace of mind
Needs a rear gate if you have pets. Ours are well behaved so that was no issue for us
2 interior doors are glass but our pets are well behaved and not stupid so no issue for us either,,, or if you dont have pets

We stayed in the house for a few nights. The house itself is cozy and well-equipped: there’s a washing machine, dishwasher, hairdryer, iron, and plenty of kitchenware. The heating worked great, the view from the window was lovely, and the fireplace added a special touch of comfort. It was quiet at night, and the mattress was comfortable, which made for a good rest. A grocery store is just a 5-minute walk away, which was very convenient. The bathroom and toilet were clean, which we appreciated.
However, there were some serious cleanliness issues in other areas. The bed linen was wrinkled and clearly looked like it had already been used — there were visible stains and hair, which left a very unpleasant impression. Some of the bath towels had a strong, musty smell, and the kitchen towels appeared not to have been washed at all.

Beds were super comfortable and situated in beautiful mountains. T.V and wi-fi is great. Shops and activities were close. Ideal for walkers/ climbers who just want a basic home/bed.
Home was a little tired in places. Shower was adequate, but built for disabilities. Kitchen had what we needed but could have been cleaner.

Location
It needs serious TLC.
1. On arrival (it was dark and couldn’t see much outside) opening the door was hit with smell of cigarettes.
2. The decor had wall paper not stuck to the walls.
3. Spilt a cup of tea and wiped it from the laminate floor, the residue around the paper was filthy meaning the floor wasn’t clean.
4. There were hairs on all bedding.
5. For 4 people, there wasn’t enough towels.
6. Only the side of the toaster nearest the window would work.
7. On Saturday after returning from a walk, the heating wasn’t working and no hot water including after we left.
8. The back yard looked like it hadn’t been tidied for ages, I realise there has been high winds, but it was clear that some of the rubbish had been there for a while including a broken barbecue full of cigarette ends.
9. Temperature in the shower was way too cold given the fact we also had heating issues to start off with.
10. Not enough light when arriving in the dark.
11. The kind neighbours are obviously using the designated parking space for the property.
12. No gate on the back yard which makes this not dog friendly as described in the article.
13. The pictures on the booking.com website need updating as they look nothing like how it is.
14. Front and rear gardens need some serious sweeping up and cleaning including a roof slate just randomly left in the back yard.

Good location, take away info, was clean, compy sofas and beds. Good location for Snowdon. Owner answered any questions we had before arrival. Kitchen had everything we needed.
Was a little difficult to find (we arrived early hours of morning, so was dark), photo of front of property may be helpful. We were not able to park our car out the front of the property, but we were able to park on the road just around the corner of the property.

Cottage furniture and beds very dated and sofa and beds a bit smelly.
Parking was bad could not fit into parking space and was a job to find somewhere to park.

The cottage was in a location that suited us as we were climbing snowdon, we were a family of 5 myself, 3 sons and my sons g/f , the WiFi was good and the instructions to get into the house were clear.
We booked for 2 nights unfortunately left after 1 , the downstairs had 3/4 plugs in which were overpowering so turned them off but after a while noticed the house smelt.the sofa was itchy and also smelt , myself and two sons shared the larger bedroom but the double bed in there absolutely stunk of urine🤢 which made us feel sick so we slept downstairs, there was food left over from someone previously in the kitchen cupboard. The smell in the kitchen was so over powering we couldn't cook or eat in there. There's a unit in the front room that had games in and two dirty blankets were shoved in there . Unfortunately we won't be back and wouldn't recommend there's definitely a horrible smell in the house and the urine in the bedroom is awful .

Very clean, fully equipped kitchen, beds comfy
Parking wasn't good, 1 space for the house, had to drive round the other roads for the 2nd car.
Exterior of property was really off putting and a foul mouthed neighbour didn't help, with a 6yr old with us. Obviously this is no fault of the property owner, but I wouldn't stay there again. Needed updating throughout.

Great veiw and handy supermarket, huge space, nice outside area.
Shower could be a little hotter after a day's hiking. But it would not put me off from booking again I loved it.

Everything was clean and well presented. The information given about local sites was very helpful. Great views of the local town and mountains

Locality to Zip World.
Living room area clean and spacious.
We weren't expecting luxury for the price but it was let down by basics such as a poorly equipped kitchen, if you advertise for 6 people then supply crockery/ glasses etc for 6! Some items had to be washed before use as they were put away dirty! Unfortunately there was no washing up liquid so we had to the go out and buy some, plus tea-towels as the one supplied had food encrusted on it! Simple things to rectify but they make a big difference to your first impressions and your overall stay. Bathroom towels are included but they were very small, threadbare and unpleasant smelling. No mention in the description of the extremely sloping floors upstairs, you felt as though the whole upstairs was dropping forward. The bbq area was a small, grotty back yard. Access and parking at the property is extremely difficult but made worse by a neighbour who parks his motorbike at a really ridiculous angle to make parking as difficult as possible. I could go on. Overall disappointing.

A beautiful homely stay, great location for getting around Snowdonia. Rooms really comfortable, and everything you need there
Parking on arrival was a little confusing as the sign said not to park, but after checking with owner all was ok.

The location was beautiful, and we all enjoyed our time in the slate mines especially in 'Bouncing Below'.

The view was truly the highlight of this trip. Just to be able to step out your front door & not move an inch further to be faced with the breathtaking scenery is the stuff of dreams. The property is also in a fantastic location with so much to do - you are literally spoilt for choice! There is a mountain peak you can climb literally just up the street, behind the house where we watched the sunset & this was one of the most beautiful things anyone in our group has even experienced. Internally the property is modern & clean with a great set up for a couple of group.
If we absolutely had to pick something we didn’t like it would be the shower water pressure but even then this didn’t bother us or effect our stay in any way; it was just less than what we are used to at home.

Heating supplied through the day, kept us warm in 0° weather, mainly living room and bedroom. WiFi, Smart TV, Mountain views
Communication from hosts beforehand was great and guide available inside the home
6.0 / 10.0
The location of the property was excellent as it was just a few minutes from Zip World. Hosts were very helpful and sent through information in advance. Great views from the front of the building and very quiet.
Excellent heating which kept everything nice and cosy.
Please note if you are planning on visiting in the winter just be mindful that the location of the property is on a very steep hill, which although allows for excellent views, could be tricky in icy, snowy conditions.
Slightly difficult to find. A small drawing of how to locate the property would be helpful, particularly as we could not see any street names.
We arrived in the dark and as there was no lightning outside the property it was difficult to navigate the steep steps.
The batteries for the remote to turn the TV did not work. The batteries in the wall heater also did not work.
The cutlery would benefit from being replaced and some non stick saucepans would be a welcome addition.
There are some damp in the hallways which does mean there is a musty smell.
The bathroom is the room that needs the most investment as it would benefit from a new shower and shower cubicle and new flooring.
Basically the cottage has the potential to be a really cosy property but needs some injection of love and money to make it worth the money currently being charged.

Nice location with pretty views from the front. House was a good size and great size second bedroom. The house was clean and the owners were polite and helpful.
Road is very narrow and tricky! Was dark when we arrived and was very nerve-racking.
Everything was a little basic and could use a little love. Shower was quite weak and bed quite short and not overly comfortable.
Choice on the TV was a bit limited. A TV with more smart features like Netflix maybe would have been nice as it rained our whole trip (not a massive surprise in October) but would have made the evening a bit more entertaining with two teenagers.
5.0 / 10.0
The location was decent, good views of the mountains from the windows, property was spacious.
The stairways had a damp/fishy smell, passage, front of house and rear of house lights didnt work, the sofa smelt of damp and had dog hairs all over them, one of the rooms had a half empty bottle of wine in the cupboard, the whole property was very dusty,
Its ok for the price, but wasn’t cleaned very well after the previous guests.
