I was really sad to leave

This is the absolute perfect little cottage a 5 min walk from Beddgelert’s shops & etc. The facilities were great, washing machine & dishwasher. It’s decorated beautifully throughout. I used this as a base to visit the surrounding areas such as Portmeirion, Porthmadog, Caernarfon, Bangor and Anglesey. A very interesting garden with a beautiful view from the top. I enjoyed so much that I was very sad to leave, although I do plan on going back. Good communication from owners. 100% recommend.

The only thing I will say is that the beds aren’t the most comfortable, but not enough to necessarily complain about.

The location is great. Just a few mins from the centre of Beddgelert which is a charming village with several pubs and restaurants, which is very unusual for a small village in North Wales. Spacious living room. Large dining table.

The property needs a general refresh; it smells of smoke from the fireplace. Bedrooms are very small.

Great location. Quaint cottage with period features. Large living room. Helpful owner. Parking for multiple cars easy.

Dishwasher broke while there, TV remote and clock needed batteries changing. Doorways low - caution tall people - you will bang your head! Steps to rear garden not good - broke on first use and could have caused serious injury. High chair was dismantled and hidden in a small cupboard so could not be easily located. TV not very good - kept freezing when trying to load apps.

Beaut of a cottage

Great location. Clean. Quiet area but only a 5 min walk to Beddgelert center. Great cottage. Very close to Snowdon.

Check in after 4pm and then check out before 10am was a bit restrictive.

beautiful cottage with lots of room. lots of room for parking and a short walk from beddgelert and other areas you’d want to walk to.

had to use a dehumidifier as floor had risen. no welcome pack and no real information to read about property. communication prior to arrival was limited as ran by cottages.com so messages not replied to on here. information says bedding not provided but that is old information. when using fire entire house smells of smoke and sets fire alarm off. DVD player not working.

I'd stay again; i love the village, the country and property

The Property is great, needs a little TLC out back where of course things degrade pretty quickly and with the back of the property butting up against the mountain, there's some damp creeping into the sills and walls - it is charming but I would probably rip-away all plaster, re-proof the walls and re-cover or leave open - it's gots massive aesthetic potential but i know this would be costly.

Most cottages provide a welcome pack; this was missing. Some of the social media content and sites were locked-out with the wifi being on a Post-Office Box - not good for children and frustrating if you need to keep track with friends / family on social media. The once picturesque view is now obscured with modern paraphernalia (telegraph poles, un-hinged sign posts etc) - I'd like the council to remove all tat!

V poor and having sharp nails on upturned decking is unforgivable.

Two bathrooms

Decking upturned with long nails exposed. We had three children with us who could have been seriously hurt. I haves shared photos and expect owners to do more. TV didn’t work. Lightbulbs not working. Strong smell of sick/ drains in kitchen which further ruined our stay. Living room dust everywhere esp on floors
