Location absolutely stunning, staff very friendly and accommodating. Would have been good to stay longer.

The location, the holiday park was lovely. The food was amazing

The mattress on the bed was awful and we didn't sleep properly during our stay you could feel every spring in the mattress. We have come home with bad backs

I would definitely not recommend this place during the summer. The cabin becomes extremely hot throughout both the day and the evening. Because you have to leave the doors open to get any ventilation, huge numbers of tiny biting flies (midges) come inside, making it very uncomfortable. The midge problem is particularly bad, and there are so many of them that it is difficult to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. This is something potential guests should be aware of before booking during the warmer months. The cabin was also not clean on arrival, as there was pet hair all over the sofa. The shower drainage was blocked, and the bathroom flooded before we had even finished our first shower. The restaurant staff were not particularly helpful and came across as rather rude towards guests. Overall, I would not recommend staying here unless you want your holiday to be more stressful than relaxing.
