Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful setting. Very helpful and accommodating host. Excellent location for exploring North Wales. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay there again!
Small note: hot-tub is at extra cost, which is not stated on the property description.
hot-tub at extra cost, poor communication with SYKES holiday cottages - it took me 2 days to find how to pay for the hot tub.

The location trumps all negatives as it was perfect for us, the size of the house and the garden/ hot tub were very lovely.
The house is well situated with easy access to Welsh coastal path, a short ( but steep) walk down into the harbour which had lovely pubs, cafes and places of interest.
The house itself was clean with well manicured gardens.
The quality of the furniture, in particular the beds and bedding was average at best. Some of our family members found the mattresses uncomfortable. The bed linen was not luxury in feel, duvets were thin and blankets had holes in- the sheets were not well fitted or adequate in size- one of the beds looked like it wasn't freshly made.
The towels were not adequate- there wasn't enough for the size of the party and they were bath towels not bath sheets. Luckily we had bought our own. Additional towels that had been left for the hot tub would be perfect for young children but not 10 adults.
I own a couple of holiday lets and would make sure these beds and linen items are luxury, especially when charging premium pricing.
One of toilets in the bathroom didn't flush so well.
The kitchen was tired but adequate and was well equipped but the large table in the middle of the kitchen wasn't best use of the space. However- Great for communal board games with balcony and view!!
There was only one tv which again, for how large the property was didn't accommodate for different guests needs. Again this was not a big issue for us but could have been had we had much older or younger people in our party.

The location was spectacular, with stunning views across the Menai Strait. It was a short, if steep, walk to the local pub and shop. Larger stores a short 10 minute drive away towards Bangor. The rooms were a good size and the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were well appointed. The hot tub was a bonus. Very close to all the sightseeing you could want, only 20/30mminutes drive to Anglesey, Llandudno, Caernarfon and Snowdon. Parking was available, with room for 2 cars on the drive and space for more in the road.
There were a few issues; the wall lights in the lounge did not work. The doorbell did not work. The grill in the oven was hanging loose. The dishwasher has a problem. Some of the jets in the hot tub were not working. The footpath from the back garden to the town is a work in progress, and only for sprightly people. The access to the utility room is down a spiral staircase, which is a little rickety and prone to trap fingers against the wall. The details of the bin collections were very vague, as there are several bins all from the same company and no idea of which to leave out.

Beautiful view. Worth the trip alone! Good size, great gardens. As a family group of different ages, plenty of space for us to be together but also space to be alone.
The kitchen was a bit dated in style, but not really an issue, not a criticism just maybe something to look at to make the property even better!

Good location. Very nice views across the Straits. Hot tub was popular. WiFi effective. Kitchen well equipped. No complaints regarding sleeping arrangements or comfort.
We experienced a problem with the shower in the main bathroom. Nuisance at the time but, to the hosts' credit, it was solved swiftly and without undue fuss.

Size of accommodation.
Location and facilities were great.
Some repair needed to slats at base of bed. Bottle opener missing.
But these were minor issues that didn't spoil the weekend.

The view is amazing and the house is quite spacious and nice. There is more than enough space for 10 people.
Parking was actually available at this place (2 cars in the driveway, 2 others can also be parked on the street without any problem).
The main point that made our stay very challenging (and we only stayed 2 nights) was that the house is set up upside down so the kitchen is upstairs and the bedrooms are downstairs. This would not be a problem if the floor didn't crack under every single footstep and resonated really loudly downstairs. This means that anyone making themselves a coffee in the kitchen basically wakes up everyone. This is not ok for a 10 people house and is really not ok for the price we paid.
I was really worried about the parking space as it was advertised as no parking. However there are actually 4 cars which can be parked easily.
The garden hadn't been cleaned even though we paid extra for the hot tub. I had to pick up multiple rubbishes from the floor in the garden.
The smoke alarms are very sensitive and go off from the vapor of the oven, maybe they need adjusting.
There were multiple rules at the house written on a paper which was not advertised on booking (e.g. no hot tub past 10pm, etc.), all of these should have been written in the description on booking.com.
The Check-in is at 17:00 and the Check-Out at 10:00 and it is "non-negotiable" as stated on the add. It is usually 16:00 and 11:00 which takes 2 hours off on your stay, and it seemed a little bit out of order, especially for a short stay. Checking out at 10am for a 10 people house, is too early and makes it very uneasy for the guests.
Other suggestion: Maybe add some stickers on the bins so people are aware which rubbish go in which bin (bins colors are always different depending on the place)

Location excellent. One local pub good for food , not quite a gastro pub though. Everything had been thought of and our stay was very good . Highly recommend.
Nothing.
