Cosy cabin, gorgeous views

The views from the cabin are absolutely stunning. The welcome packs for the humans & dogs were perfect. Having tea, coffee, sugar, milk sachets there ready for a cuppa, even before you unload the car if you'd like, is a massive help. The cabin is, warm, cosy, beautifully decorated & the extra little bits like blankets, books, torches & even having cleaning products make it feel very homely. We were after a nice relaxing holiday & that's just what we got. The added bonuses of the enclosed decking for the dogs & the stunning view meant we could just relax & enjoy the peace & quiet. We did have to call John (the owner) once, he answered straight away, answered our question & sorted the small problem we were having immediately. Thank you, John. The gorgeous enclosed dog walk area is perfect for exercising the pooches. There are plenty of walks from the park, so you can get out into all that stunning scenery. The park is also just off the A470 so its easy to get to lots of other tourist attractions.

Nothing much and maybe also just my preference. I found the sofa in the lounge quite uncomfortable to sit on for too long. With it being winter when we visited, in the evenings we wanted to pop the fire on, get cosy on the sofa & watch a film. Sadly, the sofa kind of ruined it a little as I (& my partner).would have to keep changing positions or sitting on a scatter cushion as the sofa (sofa bed), seemed like it's more built for occasional use than full time lounge. It hasn't by any means spoilt our holiday, we'd still book the same cabin again, we'd just take a few more pillows/cushions.

Perfect for a nice quiet getaway with everything you could need

Brilliant location, the place had everything we could need and more. The extras like the welcome basket and the drink in the fridge were a pleasant surprise and very welcoming, it was a nice touch and shows they care about their stay. Great views out of the windows too. All in all I would recommend this lodge!

Excellent

We loved the property and the scenic views. The 'welcome Pack' was excellent catering for: adults, children and even our dogs. There was even a complimentary barbeque. There was a lovely stream as part of the property and the dogs loved dipping in it.

Highly recommend, beautiful country with loads to do and see!

Super stay in a very nice cabin and we were greeted with a very pretty cabin, in a stunning location. There was even some unexpected freebies like coffee pods, kids games and toys as well as some free plonk 😁

Bed mattress could have been better quality as it was a little uncomfortable.
