Waterfall Retreat consists of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, kettle, and toaster, along with a sitting room with a woodburning stove, TV with Freeview, DVD player, radio, and a selection of books, games, and DVDs. The bedrooms consist of a double and a single with trundle. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. Gas central heating, WiFi, fuel, power, and starter pack for woodburning stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Outside, there is a multi-tiered garden with patio, decking, furniture, and a freestanding bath. Roadside parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop in 0.5 miles, a pub in 0.1 miles, a lake in 0.8 miles, and a river in 0.1 miles. Waterfall Retreat offers a characterful setting for a memorable break in North Wales. Note: There are approx. 15 steep uneven steps to the elevated sun deck – not suitable for those with limited mobility. The main local attractions include Zip World Slate caverns, the longest zip line in Europe and fastest in the world, this is a great underground adventure. The slate mines now hold the prestigious status of a world heritage site, awarded by UNESCO and visitors can take enthralling underground trips there to see mining as it was done in days gone by. The famous narrow gauge Ffestiniog mountain railway also runs for 13 miles through the Snowdonia National Park to the harbour town of Porthmadog. Nearby is Portmeirion village, famous for its architecture and the film set of the cult TV series The Prisoner, plus local beaches, suitable for children, are within easy driving distance.
