The cleanliness was awful. Parking was limited. Danger to health due to black mould. The whole property was tired, unloved and in need of attention. The owner was contacted and refused to believe that his property was unfit for purpose. Not the cheerful 2 bed property as advertised.

Great size. Good location. We were only there for a short stay but we were really pleased. Clean, good facilities and good communication.

Hand towel needed for the bathroom and there was a lack of suitable cutlery particularly forks 😂 These are minor things that didn’t stop us enjoying our stay.

Gorgeous home in beautiful setting

Beautiful little town - so close to a park for the children to play. Easy to park outside the house. Big tv, games and books. Lovely to have a dart board outside too. We would definitely recommend.

For a short stay with low expectations its alright.

It was a charming house on the inside. Everything you need was there.

The bed was really too small (my husband is almost 2 mtr so he couldn’t strech his legs). We didn’t much like the neighbourhood.

It was a short 1 night stay that served a purpose of a roof over our heads for the night

There isn't anything around the property really. There was a bit of an odd smell as you came into the property. The bathroom was a little dirty. There was no hand towel. The bed was REALLY creeky so you keep getting woken up by a little movement being amplified. The couches weren't comfy at all. There's no curtains so it's extremely bright in the morning.

Great location for visiting Zip World or for walking. A good size property.

Unfortunately we left after the first night and booked into a Travelodge. I won't go into too much detail as I did contact the owner and we did get an apology and partial refund. Hopefully there will be a few changes and it will improve.

A good stay

The host was prompt to reply and helpful with information and questions answered prior to our stay. The cottage was on the outskirts of the town, which was walking distance. It was roomy and clean and had a cosy feel at the same time. Nice smelling towels and plenty of them. The kitchen was well equipped and had the little things to make your stay easier. There's a washing machine, which would help if you stayed more than a few days. The lounge was comfy and has a good size t.v with the extra channels. Bedrooms, one double bed, with a very soft mattress and a bunk room. Bathroom has a really good shower over the bath. The garden room was a lovely addition, so was the hot tub, after a 15 mile walk, but I'm told that will be removed soon, which is a shame. All in all a nice stay

The curtains had been removed for planned re-decorating, which will be lovely for future guests. This meant that the street light shone through the light coloured blinds and disturbed our sleep. Unable to park outside the property, as other cars were there, but we managed to get a space at a car park just a bit further up the side road.

Exceeded expectations

Clear instructions left for everything including key collection, heating, wifi etc. There is Netflix available and wifi speed was good. Hot tub in the property was a bonus.

Hand wash was diluted with water. It would have been nice to have body wash etc. There were hair in the bath tub.
