Inaccessible by Bus but great facilities

Brand new facilities Great breakfast

Location near a church so you hear the bells every hour. No reception, though the check in process is good and they answer questions in email quickly. Location is uphill and is accessible by car best. Bus to ski gondola every hour. If you want to eat anywhere other than the expensive hotel dinner you must take the bus which operates once every hour.

Astonishing views and poor WiFi.

Views from our room, library and the breakfast room were astonishing. Breakfast was good, bed was comfortable.

Parking space was a bit far and it was difficult to find the information where it actually is. Wi-Fi didn't work properly (very bad signal).

One night during the transfer

The hotel is new and very clean. I really liked it and can recommend others. Everything was ok. The staff was friendly but we met them only during the breakfast because it was self-check it. The food was very delicious and selection was limited but enough for us for one night. A view is amazing!!

There was a problem with self-check it because both screens were showing “system error” but somehow we were able to register. We paid 20 CHF for our dog. You do not receive anything for your dog so I think that it should be for free. The hotel was full, many people on sauna so we did not use.

Loved it!

10/10 points for the location, smooth check-in, and good breakfast. Would love to come back again. Awesome views from the hotel and nice walking trails. Don't think just book it.

No signs at the self-check-in for the parking lot, but figured out, it was just close by. Hope they put up some signs at the kiosk. Church bells, but was okay as you get used to.

The place is clean.

The hotel has no staff to help you settle in. They also charged me a wrong total and charged me again as they made a mistake not charging the full amount at the beginning. Also charged the wrong card (not updated card on booking). Wasn’t a good experience; wouldn’t recommend.

It could have been a dream stay because of the view, but it turned into a nightmare because of the bells

-restorant's dinner was soo good, breakfast is better compares to other European hotels (cheers to the chef & restaurant staff) -Amazing view

-There is a church right next to the hotel. As someone who respects all beliefs, I didn’t think much of it when making my reservation. However, I was shocked and surprised to witness that, in the 21st century, one of the most advanced European countries (known for producing the world’s best watches) still rings church bells early in the morning for 20min to call Catholics to service, disturbing hotel guests. Unless you are a devoted Catholic who wouldn’t mind waking up to the sound of church bells for several minutes every morning, I would not recommend staying here (especially if you come Walensee area for resting and serenity like me) -They closes off the best part of their restaurant (the area with the lake view) for private events, leaving regular guests to eat in the rear section without any lake view -There is no reception available to contact at any time, and no phones in the rooms; if you need anything, you have to go to the entrance and use a shared phone to call staff. -There are no complimentary teabags or coffee in the rooms either. You must pay for coffee from the coffee machine by going to the entrance, and if you want tea, you have to walk to the restaurant to ask for a teabag, then return to the machine to get hot water making even a simple cup of tea unnecessarily complicated.

Great breakfast, lovely place to stay in you have a car or e-bike. Clean, quiet place and lovely view from the room! close to the lake.

1. Call center center staff were there 24/7 and helpful. 2. Mattress and bathroom were clean.

1. The room was full of all kind and sizes of spiders. 2. Wood cockroaches were all around we requested another room and we also saw two in the new room. 3. The breakfast server she was so impolite and rude. 4. Breakfast closes at 9:30am too early, and it’s in the next building reaching there was like a maze.

Gorgeous views, immaculate inside and out - an excellent accommodation!

This is a stunning location overlooking the lake. The 7th floor has a gorgeous veranda that is so peaceful. Our room was immaculate and some nice little touches with the heart-shaped biscuits. Excellent breakfast with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. It’s an automated check-in so it just takes an extra minute or two to complete. All in all, we would highly recommend this hotel.

Brilliant.

Clean, modern, great views, all mod cons. The bedroom was well appointed, the breakfast was wonderful, the staff helpful. A little out of the way, but if that's what you like, it's perfect. Off season, the restaurant is only open on weekends, but there are plenty of local options.

The building, the views.

The staff where breakfast was served. Quite rude in general. Last year the coffee at the reception was free, now they charge for it; which left me with a sour taste. The bathroom doors, OMG!! Why did they make them with a big gap on the top and bottom??

Modern, clean and functional room and facilities in a superb location.

Poor service. Hotel has a restaurant, but they will not serve you unless you book in advance. You would expect a >300$/night hotel to offer their guests a restaurant service without the need to book, or at least to announce it very clearly. To our surprise, a not very pleasant lady didn't allow us in the restaurant and my 2 kids and I had to drive to another village few km away to have dinner (not many options available at walking distance, just a pizzeria). Again, wonderful rooms and facilities, poor service.

The view from hotel room and balcony was breathtaking. Smooth and quick check in, 3 times out of 3. Rooms are nice and comfy.

Parking is a bit down the hill, but it's ok. There's the possibility to load/unload the car at front door. Spa gets busy and there's no mgmt around to re-set the common areas. I would avoid it during the weekend or I would go early to anticipate busy time.
