EVERYONE SHOULD STAY HERE.

Everything was amazing, from the breakfast to the games room to the cinema! We would definitely stay here again. Service was friendly, the view was amazing, the walking-routes were so beautiful. After our trip, the whole voted on what was our favourite hotel. Berg & Bett Santis lodge won!

Maybe the popcorn coooould get cheaper? Otherwise, everything was good, thanks.

Terrible dinner and degraded service

We have stayed at Berg&Bett Säntis Lodge in spring and liked the hotel very much! The hotel is great for family with kids. It has a very well designed relaxing room for adults and equipped entertainment room for children. There is a playground that belongs to the hotel and a bigger playground is just in a walking distance (10 min). Coop supermarket and a small bouldering center, pool and Unterwasser city center are also 10 min away. The area is great for hiking! The hotel offers guest cards with some benefits. Room are nice and clean, balcony, wardrobe, shower with bath tubs, hair drier, etc. Breakfast is very good.

My impression about the hotel was ruined just after one dinner at their premises. We knew that their chef is good, since we stayed there a few months before, so we ordered half board. When we came to the restaurant we were very hungry, especially our toddler daughter. The fist dish was soup. It was not even needed to try it, since it looked like melted butter or fat. I tried it and it turned out to be the case! Very fatty substance that was not possible to eat. And the guy at the service tried to convince that it is natural and how this thing is cooked. Despite all those explanations it was terrible. Just horrible. The second dish was somehow better but also not edible. My wife ordered the vegetarian option of Chili con carne and she got a plate of rise with very greasy vegetables. Their chef cannot cook at all. I did not even try their dessert. Since the dinner was awful, I had to go rush to a supermarket to buy something for me, my wife and the daughter, who was very-very hungry. I put 100 franks on the table and ran to the supermarket. The next morning I got the change for the dinner and they charged me for wine and water only. I thought they realized that they cannot charge their customers for the dinner, which is not edible. But no! They did it! When we were checking out, the lady at the reception said that I have to pay for that dinner and was genuinely surprised that we were not offered another food during the dinner. I think the hotel has financial issues and charge whatever they can and do not care about the feelings of their customers. Of course I cancelled our half board for the next day and had an amazing dinner in a close by hotel. Another point showing that the hotel has its issues is that their personnel is changed pretty frequently and no proper hand over is given to new staff members. Unfortunately, we left disappointed.

Family oriented and very nice place

We rented a room for 3 adults and got an apartment which made the space huge with 2 bathrooms, 2 living rooms and 2 balconies. The hotel is well located 5 minutes’ walk from a bus stop (bus every half hour). Very pleasant stay.

Nothing really except that the “3rd” bed was not as comfy as the two others.

Simple but clean and with friendly staff.

Randomly had to check in here when a storm came and we had a tent. Very friendly staff, nice rooms with a huge balcony, small activity room for kids.. Easy to park.Good value for money

The breakfast was not much to write home about - few options, and most of them were very sweet. Would have appreciated if they had summer linens instead of winter ones in 30 degrees.

Location of the hotel was perfect, walking distance from the lifts.. moreover it was a family-friendly hotel with a very nice room for kids to play when parents were dining. There is also kids cinema and a playroom with ping pong which kids enjoyed very much, we will definitely visit this place again in the future.

Quality of breakfast was very good but they would need to replace whatever is consumed faster, for the people who come late... Mattresses in some rooms should be replaced, they are not comfortable enough and seem pretty old.

Perfect place for family with kids. Playroom, cinema, lounge the kids could play and we could have some time off. Very close to the ski posts, we went on foot. The food nothing special but ok for the price.

Amazing and Romantic place with breathtaking views and great facilities.

Everything. What's not to like. Firstly the hotel location was in a really amazing place, you had all the mountains nearby and the scenarios is so beautiful, there is a river just a few meters away and it's a calming process to hear it in the morning out in the balcony or during the day where you can go near to it and sit out, or at night while sleeping. it's so lovely. The facilities - they have an amazing restaurant, with plenty of room and places to sit, there's a place where you can chill and the best for last, their entertainment place, they have a billiards, a Kino, football table (tabletop), and also a table tennis for you to play with friends or your companion. Now the Room - We were located in the 2nd floor, room number 245, the room was quite large, it had a large bathroom, with a bathtub (which we always love), it was clean, the bed was comfy and quite large (two single beds together with something in the middle so it looks like one large bed), it had a sofa on the side with a table where you could sit and enjoy. The balcony is also large and it has two chairs and a table where you could enjoy the view of the beautiful mountains. I told the staff beforehand that i am coming for an romantic weekend, and they made sure to make it more pleasant for us, with heart shaped chocolate on our bed. There is one coop market nearby and has all the stuff you need. Free and large parking. Nice and very helpful staff. Clean and beautiful Hotel. First time giving a 10 star from my side, however i would consider 9.5 because of the things I didn't like (not a huge deal breaker)

The room heating wasn't working during the day that properly, so the room was a bit chilly, and then after midnight it got better. We told the receptionist and they came directly to check it, and they put it on max, really helpful from there, but the heater wasn't responding again) And i didn't like the separate bedsheets because i was with my fiancé and we want to sleep inside one bedsheet... and one was too small, but not a huge deal breaker.

Wonderful location. We had the loft suite for one night. It was the only room left and we had no choice. Nice suite, huge couch, good tv, nice balcony, good sized kitchen. Perfect for a party of people! Free parking also good.

Bathroom quite dated. Pillows and duvet were a bit oddly shaped. Expensive restaurant for what it is… one pizza, one bowl of pasta and two cokes came to £58!
