Lovely stay in a lovely place

I liked the fact that it didn't feel like a hotel while still having all the amenities I'd expect from a hotel. The beds were also the comfiest I had on that part of my trip. The view from everywhere was gorgeous, but honestly that's just that entire region of Switzerland. What a beautiful country!

Wonderful hotel with mountain views

A wonderful location, very friendly staff. Sadly no restaurant on site, but there are a couple a short walk away in other hotels. We ate at the Aplenrose and it was very good.

Good

Great location close to Iltios and Unterwasser. Beautiful mountain views, friendly staff, good quality basic continental breakfast (fresh bread, local cheese, cappuccino etc from a machine, cereal, juice, soft boiled egg on Sunday) clean room, good size of room, nice balcony, dog friendly (15.- charge per night for dogs though).

There is nothing wrong with the place per se, but in my opinion there is a mismatch between the price (we paid around 200.- per night for a double room) and the standard of the hotel, which is very clean, but basic (I would say it looks like a pension or a private room in a youth hostel, but costs as much as a 3-4 star room). If it was around 120.- per night, I would have given it 9/10 or 10/10, but for 200.- I just expect a little more.

Great place, great host!

The location is great. The host is very friendly and makes you very comfortable in the lodge. Breakfast is outstanding! We enjoy much the common space too, plenty of room and there is the possibility to get take away food and eat there, by the fireplace. Overall a very positive experience!

נוף מדהים, חצר גדולה עם נחל שזורם בה. בעלת הבית היתה נחמדה מאוד והמליצה לנו על מסלולי טיול נהדרים באיזור.

בגלל שבאנו לא בעונה לא היו עוד אורחים חוץ מאיתנו וגם המארחים לא היו (השאירו פתוח) תחושה קצת לא נעימה להיות לבד בבית כזה גדול.

Ruhiges Hotel

Etwas älteres Hotel ohne Rezeption. 1 Nacht waren wir zu fünft, die 2. Nacht nur wir zwei. Geschlafen haben wir sehr ruhig. Es gab aber trotzdem ein feines Frühstücksbüffet. Das Abendessen haben wir in Stump’s Alpenrose eingenommen. Es war sehr fein. Das Rest. Gade, nebenan, war leider am Dienstag und Mittwoch geschlossen.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. War einfach super!

Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. 3-4 verschiedene Brote, Gipfeli, Aufschnitt, Schinken, Salami. Verschiedene Joghurt, 4 verschiedene Müesli Mischungen, frisches Obst, O-Saft. War sehr lecker. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas weiter oberhalb von Unterwasser. Perfekt, wir hatten diese Ruhe richtig geniessen können.

Frühstück ist sehr früh am Sonntag. Das Zimmer muss schon um 10:30 Uhr geräumt werden.

Heel comfortabele bedden met prachtig uitzicht en klantvriendelijk personeel

Een prachtige locatie, heel comfortabele bedden. Balkon met fantastische uitzicht.

Meubels waren eerder aan de 'oude' kant. Op de foto's op Booking zag het er iets 'moderner' uit. Ontbijt zou ook iets meer uitgebreid kunnen zijn. Bv, fruit enkel appel of peer...Had graag ander fruit gezien zoals bananen en/of beeren.

Un hotel extrem de curat și drăguț❤️

Locația spectaculoasă, este foarte frumos în jur, este foarte curat în hotel, foarte drăguț personalul și micul dejun fabulos, cafeaua foarte gustoasă ❤️

Faptul ca in camera nu era un ceainic și un pachețel de ceai și nu prindea deloc wifi, totuși prețul nu a fost atât de mic pentru camera, in rest superb❤️

Charmante Unterkunft mit Herz und herrlicher Aussicht

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, der Check-in reibungslos und mit vorab verschickten ausführlichen Informationen zum Aufenthalt ab. Die Lage und der Ausblick sind wirklich traumhaft – perfekt zum Abschalten. Alles war sauber, das Frühstück lecker und es war alles da, was man braucht. Besonders nett fanden wir die kleine Selbstbedienungsbar auf Vertrauensbasis – ideal für einen Apero, Sundowner oder eine Erfrischung nach einer Wanderung. Das Haus bzw. unser Zimmer ist vielleicht nicht ganz neu, aber das wurde durch das Gesamtpaket und die liebevolle Atmosphäre sofort wettgemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Hotel können wir nicht weiter empfehlen

Preis viel zu hoch für das Angebot. Personal unfreundlich: das einzige Mal, wo wir begrüsst wurden, ist bei der Abreise, als wir unsere Rechnung bezahlt haben. Bravo! Anscheinend ist für die Hotelleitung nur das Geld wichtig!
